I wonder if there's beer on the sun...

You know, Rowsdower basically was a dwarf, now that I think about it. Filthy, bearded, irrationally angry, constantly drunk...

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

"What came first, the magma? Or the... hm... no, the magma came first. Next."

"It's funny when you think about it, we've only seen ghosts of dead citizens here, but despite the dozens of sieges and ambushes we've had, no ghost goblin, humans, or elves. They probably have no soul. Is it booze that gives us a soul? I'm pretty sure it's booze. The sober tend to look like zombies."

"Where came the first anvil from? You need an anvil to create an anvil, yet you can't create an anvil without an anvil..."

Urist McCheesemaker heard that muttering, slaughtered the offending dwarf and made a dwarf bone anvil out of him, solving this mystery forever.

"Hey Urist. You remember those chickens we got from the caravan?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, you know how we left the rooster in a cage and the hens in that room?"

"Yeah..."

"Eh, well... How come we've got all these little baby chickens running around?"

"...

Shut up and dig, Mebil."

Is it more dwarfy to use furniture made of stone, or furniture made of wood to piss off the elves?

This made me laugh hard :)

If a hollow tube is breached but no dwarf is around to see it, does HFS spawn?
Technically speaking, no.

HFS spawns when you can see it. (DFreveal and all that)

A thought occurred, is it possible to mod the range of reveal? Like when you dig into the caverns, you reveal more caverns for a certain amount of tiles away, can you reduce this? In this way, you could mine the candy tube and never trigger the HFS... I think. And it would better simulate a dark cavern.

Finally done! A cat bone blowgun. I shall call you Beachsilk the Laborer. What did I need all this other stuff for again?... Oh well. *trash* What's with all the screaming and the stench of burning flesh?"
