MGR Very Hard and Extreme were impossible for me. I couldn't even beat the first fight.

Fighting The End is not fun if you aren't good at tracking him.
Well... It is, but also very tedious.
He's usually unreachable, hard to spot, hard to aim at...

I'd say that the odds of Monster Hunter related things showing up in Phantom Pain is close to 100%. Kojima is pretty crazy about MH.

There was also an original monster, the Gear Rex, including the ones that were actually from MH, like the Rathalos and Jaggies. If Chico is in this, there's almost sure to be a return of UMA hunting.

Oh, wait, you did enjoy it, alright.
I must say though, that little comment about the end regulating his temprature? That's true, but equipping the thermal goggles, his temprature is still noticably higher than the surrounding area, Pentazetamin helps a ton when aiming at him and you can always reach him, the path is usually just a bit obscure, holding him up three times gives you his camo, which gives you 100% camo rating on mossy ground with the proper face paint, as well as regenerating your stamina when standing in sunlight*.
Oh, and on the note of MGR, Very hard is impossible for me, I just can't defeat Senator armstrong on his first stage, Ublockable attacks that are hard to dodge, no way hosay.
*But you probably already knew all this.

I applaud you all for taking the time to learn and play the games on the hardest difficulties. I usually work up the courage to try and then give up shortly thereafter...

Should do it sometime though. MGS is probably my favourite gaming series of ever, and one of the few games I'm quite happy and willing to spend $60 on release day to get. Should invest the time to learn the game to get the best ratings... bizarre life goal.

So apparently you can't pre-load the game, but you can download it slightly before everyone else to compensate? I'm surprised at how small the download is going to be; certainly there must be a catch? Hopefully it's not "installing" (or in this case downloading) 'episodes' all over again ala MGS4.

Also, yay, I can download it beforehand so I actually can play it at the same time as the console players, slow internet ahoy.

In some circumstances unencrypting the files takes almost as long as downloading them so it's really a crapshoot either way tbh
