Are you holding shift in wheel mode?

Maybe you're not holding shift?  Shift toggles running when on foot, but for d-horse and d-walker you have to hold it.
It takes them a while to slow down when you let go though, for some reason.  D-horse can stop fast if you want, while D-walker skids quite a ways even if you hit the stance key.

Don't HIT the stance key, hold it.
He stops much, much faster.

Also, you can tap Space with D-Walker to get another burst of speed without holding the fast pace.

I must admit, doing those sweet turns in D-Walker while dashing is amazing.
I love doing those sharp turns so much.
Oh, it's worth mentioning D-Walker will stop way faster if you hold the stance button and turn.

I will wring your neck you goddamn ninja.
Besides, I also mentioned that you can also turn while holding the stance key to make those stops far faster.

Hmm. I really should use D walker more often. But for sneaky missions there's just so little that can replace D-Dog+jeep, and for shooty missions I like taking tanks and going for massive overkill (killing skulls by running over them is always entertaining). And I never go lethal on normal troops, so... yeah.

Sounds silly but often I find the dog to be more of a liability since he is more then willing to knock things over and attract guards.

Tell him to sit, go on a bit then tell him to come, or just avoid getting close to guards in general. Though yeah, I've had my fair share of 'goddammit D-Dog' moments.

That's understandable.

Oh, also, I just unlocked the rocket fist, and here's a questionnaire for you guys:
1: Is the Rocket Fist the most amazing thing ever done with a Prosthetic limb?:
A: Yes
B: Certainly
C: Of course
Edit: Oh man, now I'm hearing about me killing a lot of people.
Come on guys, I haven't killed that many people? None at all if you don't count quiet and...
That one time.

I am kind of astounded it took so long to unlock rocket fist given that your arm is the arm from peacewalker to the point where I original thought it was the EXACT same dang arm.

Also why didn't they make the Rocket Fist the Peace Rocket? :P

I will say that this game is probably the most heavy handed in its symbolism out of the entire city.

"Ohh look, Snake is literally turning into a demon"

Here is a spoiler question: Do they FINALLY reveal Grey fox? He is supposed to become Snake's second in command but so far he hasn't even been hinted at.

I think the internet people are implying that MGSV is not finished, what with cut content showcased on some special edition discs or something.
... Heck, I've already put in a nice chunk of hours into this and there could have been at least another chapter.

Oh right.  Unless he shows up in 45 or something after that, no.
