Night creatures just got a WHOLE lot worse

Any body else itimadated? The next update undead and night creatures will become more kick ass. So, all those random boogey men deaths will be nothing compared to the new horrors. Seriously, they are engineering the thing that will destroy us all. Thoughts?

Sounds like a lot of fun, but apparently the actual curses and required weaponry/protection scenarios won't appear in this next release.
Hopefully the various night creatures get a population balance of sorts to prevent night creatures+immortals+undead>Living, sentient beings. At least in their general regions. and of course there should be more night creatures in evil regions.

I'm also worried about travelling through, like an evil region and being ambushed by a force of 100+ zombs. :P

I think it's the way towns develop now. In the beginning, people move into a town. Then they start producing tables, which results in more and more tables. Soon tables represent a significant portion of the population, they start lobbying for new laws and regulations, putting people to greater and greater disadvantage...

Zombies will be of the slow kind at least. Let's say that'll make it easier to just run away.
I'm more scared of necromancer's and stuff like that especially for forts... Guess what would happen if every time a dwarf fell, it came back to attack...

And in adventure mode, that's just pure nightmare when your companions get back up to have at you  :P But i'm really looking forward to those evil necro dungeons.

Need a "I survived this hunted town and all I got was this lousy curse" T-shirt?

Wait....if theoretically, your fallen champion adventurer can also be turned undead if she/he dies in certain places...you can "play" with it in your next form! But I guess it won't be fun if your reanimated corpse is limbless when you died and is left gnawing in the ground (unless your were legendary biter and can evade by squirming in the ground).

I'd much rather run through an army of zombies than fight six or seven night creatures.
Seriously those little fuckers can dodge almost all of my attacks, shatter my fingernail, then proceed to break every bone in my body.

If there's increased risk, there sure as hell better be better rewards. Even if it's just an adamantium sock for killing things with.

Hopefully the reward is the slab.

The one that teaches you necromancy/makes you immortal.

Can you imagine the horrors that could be unleashed by that happening?
