What are just some exceedingly silly moments in the game?

I love it when the game glitches out and a FB migrates to your fortress, and you found out they're not just horrible monsters, but rather sensitive people with high empathy and musicality.

Pressing the SPACE button and watching alligators come up out of the river and kill everything.

When I go AFK not knowing that I didn't pause my game. Lost a couple of good dorfs that way.

The demon diplomat send by the humans was a good one. Still had active building destroyer tag and proceeded to wreck half my fortress untill I finally stopped it with a cave-in.
But that was a few version ago.

I think the most fun I had up to now was when my super-legendary dining hall with waterfalls was finally completed, having cost years to build and taking the lives of dozens of dwarves. Within two minutes alligators drop from one of the waterfalls into the midst of my hapless dwarves...I'd forgotten to install grates. Needless to say, the survivors of the opening party were not very pleased with the management.

That one time on my old, first sucessful fort, I woke up the clowns.
They stormed over the surface destroying, burning and killing everything... My poorly equipped military could not even slow them down. I ended up with THREE dwarves left alive, huddled in the two unconnected rooms of this house... Like some sort of thriller movie.
Then migrants arrived, I think maybe two of them survived? I hid them away in the little house too, and sent my mayor out to get food... Worked for a while, he even killed a clown with a sneak attack, but then he went insane, I sent someone else out, they were spotted... Was hilarious while it lasted, though.

Whenever a kid - or a baby - punches something and stays alive long enough. Sometimes even, getting away unharmed. Baby dodging and punching a trog once, causing it to uncontrollably vomit for days? Heck yeah.

Similarly I had a troglodyte come up from the caverns scaring dorfs all over the place.  He grappled with a couple of them but filthy trogs are weak little losers so the dwarves escaped easily and ran away.  A dorf child was coming down the ramps directly towards the filthy trog and I figured it might be strong enough to overpower the kid and figured he was a goner.

Without breaking stride the kid punched him once in the face, smashing the skull through the brain and killing it instantly.  He then kept right on going down the ramps.
