Recently in adventure mode I've been anxious to do !!science!!
Unfortunately, even my demigod Axemen cannot seem to incapacitate a fellow companion wrestler without him dying.
Fellow DFers, how can I get a person to perform all my !!science!! on?

If you want someone to be unconcious, strangle them.

If you want someone to be unconcious, strangle them.

Yes this is a good idea. Strangling used to cut open their throats but now (not sure which update) it just makes them pass out (and unable to breathe, of course). Another good option (if you specifically want to hurt them to "incapacitate") would be to just smash their parts, or if you just "accidentally" attack them I think you might be able to re-recruit them, and then just wait and they will get their blood back. Another option could be just to get them in a ton of fights, but as you can imagine that might not be very effective.

One thing I do is go to a bandit camp and kill until there are only 2 or 3 bandits left, then I f**ks (can you curse on here?) with them and sleep when they lose too much blood. They come running back to you in the morning haha (and fresh with blood). You can !!Science!! on them.

Also, powerlevel dodging and shield user. This can be done by wrestling a gopher or something then standing next to it hitting "." while you just let it attack you. get some basic armor first though so you'll be invincible as far as the gopher is concerned.

I curse ner constantly and no one has ever called me on it here.

For pain, you could smash a finger or toe. ONLY ONE, keep in mind. When you want it healed, just sleep and POOF! Recovered finger/toe!
Sure is a change from Fortress Mode, where sometimes someone will be bedridden for the rest of their life from one little fingernail.

Also, strangling someone is the best way to knock them out.

Strangling is easy but before you get your !!science!! on you should do prep work. I always use Wrestling to take off any armor or clothing covering the area I'm !!sciencing!! if you want them to stay down use wrestling to shatter all their limbs while their unconscious that way when they get back up the pain will cause them to pass out again.
