I miss BBM

My fiance/wife and I have both been heavy Blackberry users and made constant use of BBM. I finally switched to a 'droid based phone and for the time being BBM isn't available on droid phones. We need a chat client that works on both phones. Any ideas?

My droid gets most messengers I use. Just go to the market and search for them, I'm sure you'll find them.

I think droid has their own messenger client, but don't quote me on it.

I use Whatsapp. It's available for iPhone, Android and I think also Blackberry, maybe others, and it works across platforms.
