Large Worlds Don't Generate
« on: April 08, 2008, 10:15:00 pm »

I've been trying to get around this for several days now.

Whenever I try to generate a 'standard' sized world, things go normally at first, but if it gets to the 'Age of Myth: Initializing' thing, everything turns white and blue for a moment, like its covered in snow, and promptly rejects, but when I try a 'pocket' sized world, it works normally, finishing in about a hundred tries.

For the record, my latest attempt at generating a world is nearing the 300th rejection mark.

Perhaps you're unlucky enough to hit one of those things we like to call "not enough RAM".

Increase your virtual page file and try again, see if that helps.
