I've done it a couple times in the past. I didn't care much for the XP rewards; killing the ghost was satisfactory enough.

In other news, elvesareburning is GO! And already 17 points.

On the note of player ghosts I somehow managed to kill a transmuter ghost from someone else despite being confused at the time.

He just kinda, uhh vanished. Curious.

Well, there goes another low level character to the horrors of D:4. Hehe. Seriyu, how do you manage to play Fighters anyway? They always seem so backwards starting out. I'm just so used to playing mages.

I usually just rush into stuff and kill what I think I can early on, but you have less options so sometimes you do just die early on because a hobgoblin got two crits on you in a row. Also pick up stuff and throw it at tough looking enemies, that helps too.

Also it looks like breadbocks didn't get registered right, he's not in the member list for the team.

Yeah I noticed that. He's in my RC list as cogintheworks and listed on CAO's players page, but unfortunately for some reason it doesn't list him in the group. I'm gonna head off to bed and see if that's resolved by the next update.

Dang, I've never gotten as far as getting a rune myself.  Is it best to focus on just one type of defense? EV, AC, or SV?  I was under the impression that they were all three sort of added together the way it was calculated.

I saw that demos actually had 0 EV and 32 AC and he seemed to be doing fine more or less. I mean if you get a mutation that gives you EV, and you're AC focused it's not a big deal, but I wouldn't try to mix and match on purpose.

Whats the best defense against smite? Is it just mdef?

Edit: nevermind, I looked it up on the wiki, it says no defense against it

God damn this game, of course now that I'm playing a necromancer it just decides to have the need to throw as many player's ghosts at me as it can

Bah, I should have lasted longer on that last one. Drew a hostile ugly thing card while fighting killer bee swarm.  I got too aggressive and overestimated how much damage I could take.  I let my vorpal dagger get to my head.  Stabbity Stabbity!!!  But it was fun to have a war between my pack of dogs and random summon cards and a swarm of bees on d8.

AC + SH or EV + SH

EV is better than AC.
