Nessos is one of those uniques i really hate.

Anyways, managed to explore most of Orcs Mine 4 but had to retreat after meeting an Iron Troll in the last of the vaults i cleared in there, as the Iron Troll seemed to laugh at my Imp army (and nearly inst kill iron imps) and do not care about Mephitic.

But finally after 2 hours spent at 5 stars in faith with nothing out of my starting book in term of offensive spells, Vehumet finally sent me a book of ... Summoning (i was more hoping for a conjuration one as i hope to get mystic blast).
Not sure yet what to use from it to replace my Call Imp + Mephitic tactic that saved my character too many times though

There's no negative points given in the scoreboard, so you can only give points to the team, not bring it down

Aw, got off to a good start with a dwarven chaos knight, Xom was happy that I found a wand of polymorph other, and changed sigmund into a spider and squashed him, then ixljb into a jelly and squished him, only to be cornered by three gnolls with halberds later on level two.  Unfortunately they just got polymorphed into killer bees and water moccassins while trying to run.

Well, I'm DEFINITELY in. I don't think I'm signing up for captain but I'm gonna start my first games today. And also if you guys are on I'll try to watch yours if thats possible maybe I can learn a few things.

Argh, my Imps and Scorpions mixed army betrayed me and moved out of the way from a black mamba in Lair:8 that i was sure to be able to kill (considering i killed many until now with my trusty sword artifact) , but it was then that crawl decided to have my character miss each of his hits while letting the black mamba land every of his.

But now i think about it, due to the complete lack of offensive spells books i found (that's certainly the first game since forever i play in Crawl in which i find only 2 books in -8 hours- of gameplay and none of them giving offensive spells , talk about lack of luck !), i had to rely on the Imps for most of the kills.
Meaning that my character could get +/- only half the experience of each kill, and my character was then at a lower level he should have been (only level 13 while it should have been at least level 16 considering every branches i explored and how much i killed).

Leading this character to be hopeless in front of the difficulty progression from now.
At least it gave lots of points for the team.

I should have sensed it coming considering the name of my sword

So until someone decides to be captain for team three, should I just add "frankhovis" as my team leader? Or is there a limit on players per team leader?
