Lame :C I'll play for a while on my own and watch this topic for a team captain.

Being a team captain is not arduous, it just means a little extra typing:

The team captain must have the name of her team and the other team members in her CAO 0.8 rcfile, like this:

# TEAMNAME nameofteam
# TEAMMEMBERS player1 player2 player3 player4 player5

And that's all you have to do - just watch this thread in case new people want to join.

Now that the new team members have started playing, the team score have bumped up to 277 !
I was hoping we could get 200 points, we're already beyond that, good job guys

Is it possible to join a tournament through webtiles, and if so, if I am terrible at the game and still haven't gotten my first rune after a year, would I be able to join the team?

EDIT: And also if so, how would I get to my options file through webtiles?

I'm currently playing with webtiles: http://crawl11.dyndns.org/players/demos.html

It works well most of the time.

1. Create an account on CAO and edit your option file ('rcfile'). I already had one from last years tournament.
2. Create an account on CDO with the same name.
3. Start playing!

You need an SSH client to create an account on either server. PuTTY, Nettiles, etc.

Well, I'm biting the bullet and gonna be captain of Team 3. Our team name is "elvesareburning" (without quotes) and I'm currently the only member of our team. My CDO name is "freeformschooler" (again, no quotes). Anyone else that wants to join up just PM me or post here telling me your CDO or CAO name and I'll add it asap.

Yes, but type it without the space between the first two words and with the extra o in freeformschooler ("#TEAMCAPTAIN freeformschooler")

I've already added you to the team. Is there any way to view a team's stats once at least one game has been played? Anyway, I'm about to attempt to DrAe my way toward dungeon level 8 or higher.

EDIT: How DO you get one of those pages like what's on the first post of the page? I added everything in my RC file just fine
