I was asking about the inside/outside status of everyone, because in my first survey of the house, you said 2 on the first floor and two on the second. I'm wondering if I saw one of the guys on the first head outside when the other met his demise.


Yeah, I'm fine here. We don't operate any tactical tracked vehicles in Iraq right now, so I work with armored trucks and do dismounted type stuff. I carry a M4 (which I named Gilead) and a M9 (Alexandria). There's also a fair bit of time spent behind various M240 machine guns.

@Strife: The one inside got killed, the other one is still outside.
 I was mostly thinking about what handgun you use, by the way. I figured it's a foreign-made gun since American handguns as far as I know are either old (M1911, Browning series, whatever this shit is) or obscure (Guncrafter Industries series, Kimber series).

Yeah, the US Army's been using the M9 for a fair number of years now, back when NATO wanted to get more common caliber stuff together. Before that, we used the good old m1911, and just about the entirety of the Army would like to go back to it, actually. Stopping power is important in a pistol. Honestly, I like both handguns a lot and am fine using the M9, mostly because I'm outrageously accurate with it for some reason (and I've got a nasty quick-draw by virtue of long practice)

 Aaron and Azen stand ground and try to find the threat. (2/4) Suddenly a large humanoid creature leaps from the darkness and pins Aaron on the floor. Azen kicks the creature, knocking it off. (5/5) The team aims at the creature and both fire three rounds from their handguns. All the bullets hit.

 Taric accepts the assignment and finds the nest where his target should be. The entrance to the nest is a deep hole. He won't be able to leave until he finds a different exit.

 (6) Torvold shoots one bullet at the bandit outside and scores a perfect headshot, once again proving he's worth of being in Spec.Ops. After that the group surrounds the staircase. It seems the bandits are waiting for the group.

 (6) Captain Johnson makes up for his failures by shooting in full auto and killing about half of the mutants. The group then goes deeper and finds a huge pulsating blob of biomass.
"That's the center. Burn it."
 Suddenly a huge writhing mass of tentacles slithers in and grabs the colonel in one of its' tentacles, crushing him.

Hard and fast crash through for the breach, pop the flash at the top of the stairs, I lead, Murphy follows. In the event of a hallway, take any doors on the left, Murphy takes those on the right. Any hostile who shows their head where Torvold can see gets a 5.56 for a present.


Demand surrender, and if it doesn't come, clear the second floor after one minute thirty seconds have elapsed.

Now on solid, stable ground, Josh reloaded, then bought another ten shells, just in case. (I think that knocks me down to 500 cash.) That accomplished, he looked for a job, specifically bounty hunting, since as far as he was aware it was good pay.
