He used to hunt buffalo cattle.
No such thing as cattle here either
Nor do the great plains exist.
All your names (Except for Kaleh) seem awfully strange for this world too.

Chapter One: Those who do not have a Home...
The silence is broken by one man. From what the others can tell, hes one of the only people without something covering his head.
"Is this it? Or are you all mute or sumthin?"
He is answered by the person sitting directly in front of him. He wears an unusually dark red headscarf.
"Were not talking because their's no
reason to talk. Outsider."
The other person replies,
"But do you need a reason to talk or sumthin? My names Jeff! Whats yours?"
"Nothing of your concern, ass-"
A female voice comes from the other side of the room.
"Dorian!"
The man apparently named 'Dorian' replies,
"Oh come on! Your not my mother, Rajiya!"
"Do I av' a say in this?" Jeff says to hopefully end the arguing.
"NO!" Dorian and Rajiya reply in unison.
Suddenly, a man stands up and says,
"Shut it down. Now."
"Your not my boss, Kal-" Dorian begins to say. The surpirsingly tall figure then rushs over to him and grabs him by the coat, lifting him up a little bit too.
"I said, Shut. It. Down. Now."
"Y-yes Kaleh." Dorian says, clearly nervous.
The man named Kaleh drops him, and returns to his seat. Dorian mumbles a few complaints and sits back down. After Kaleh takes his seat again, the man next to him whispers into his ear,
"Did you need to be so hard on him? I mean, Dorian and Rajiya are always getting into fights."
"Need to stop them before they get any worse, John. We can't have fights on duty."
"But Kaleh..."
"I do not need to get into a fight with you either. Stop the conversation."
After a little while, Jeff says,
"Anyone wanna to hear a story?"
Dorian looks like he was about to make a snarkish comment, but backs out after the glaze given by Kaleh. Rajiya also seems to not care about any stories. However, a last person, a female wearing what seems like a leather helmet with goggles attached and a cloth covering her mouth, shows interest by walking over.
"Ah, so sumone finally appreciates one o' my mighty fine stories! Whats yer name?"
The girl (As see seems a bit too young to be called a woman) does not reply, but instead shifts her head to the side.
"Can't you speak?"
Rajiya replies to Jeff's question with a very blunt, "Shes mute. And her name is Alya."
"Mute? Knew at least' one of ya couldn't speak!"
Alya shows what seems to be a chuckle, but makes no sound.
"Ok, guess that's better then nuthin'! Let me start, once, I was alone in a..."
...
...
...
A lot of time had passed by. Jeff was just finishing up his story when a loud voice come from above.
"Brothers Kaleh and Dorian, come up here."
"Yes Brother Jehoash." Kaleh says in a clam tone, "Come on Dorian."
Both Kaleh and Dorian climb the ladder to the top of the room. Once on top, they look to the west and see an expansive desert. To the east, a large group of refugees and Nomads ride to the North. Some of them are in gaint cars, others on gaint reptilian
Bergro, being escorted by tanks and and gaint vehicle similar to the one they are riding in. Jehoash hands Dorian and Kaleh an TL-12
(Closest RL Comparison: AK-47) rifle and tells them both,
"We may have raiders. Keep an eye on the skyline for anything suspicious, Brothers."
...
After a hour of watch duty, both Dorian and Kaleh were ready to call it a day, when Kaleh spots something.
"I think I have something Brothers!"
Both Dorian and Jehoash run over to Kaleh, where he was aiming at something in the skyline.
"Damn it, I think we were right about the raiders! Get everyone on full alert!" Jehoash yelled.
Most of the soldiers were ready or getting ready when the frist shots were heard. Jehoash runs over to the people inside the vehicle, where Jeff, John, Alya, and Rajiya were all clearly startled by the gunfire.
"Get your weapons and get ready! Were under attack!"
All of them got their own TL's and were already scrambling to get up the ladders when their car came under heavy fire.
What do you all do?
