"FUCK!"

Stumble out of the shelter, firing blindly at the raiders.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

In response to the sudden fire, Dorian rushes to cover in the vehicle's perch above the divers seat as Kaleh standing at full height lets out a full brust at the raiders. For a second, he looks over the rail, and says,
"Drivers dead!"
Jeff is already climbing up the ladder carring a rifle in his mouth by the time this is said. When he reachs the top, he goes prone and starts firing at the enemy himself. He is followed by the others, John letting out a very large cuss as he climbed up. As soon as Rajiya reached the top, she jumped over the rail on the side opposite to the enemy and took over near the front. Dorian drops his assault rifle, exchanging it for the sinper rifle, hung around his back. He begins to take small moments to break cover to take a sniper shot at the enemy. Many shots missed, due to the fact that he did not have enough time to estimate bullet drop and wind.

At this point, the entire nomad encampment was alive with activity, many nomad soldiers already firing at the raiders. The tanks were also most certainly mobilized, laying down a heavy layer of explosive fire on the enemy. Over the herizon, something that seems like one of the raiders own tanks are seen coming over a sand dune in the distance. It aims its barrel straight at the Nomads, and fires with clear intent. For the nest shot, it clearly aims at the vehicle that you all take cover in. Due to the fact that you all have good common sense, you quickly rushed to exit the transport before it exploded. John was going to be the last to exit, but before he did he noticed Alya, seemingly paralyzed at the sight of the tank barrel. The rest of the group were already outside and running. However, they were soon under fire.

What do you all do?

Hmm, this seems like it has promise. I'm in!

Name: Jallek Midallah
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Apperance: Tanned skin, short cropped dark brown hair and steel grey eyes. Wears a faded white headscarf combined with a set of goggles for eye protection, as well as a set of faded traveling clothes, a long leather coat, well worn boots that come up to his calves and hand wraps that conceal a pair of metal plates across his knuckles that are studded with bolts. He wears multiple belts across both his waist and chest that carry pouches that contain survival kit, bullets, some emergency food and a canteen of water. He has a multitool shovel stashed in a secure sling on his waist and a knife sheathed on his chest.
Born: Nomad
Personality: A hard man for hard times, Jallek was born in one of the safer parts of the wasteland and was raised at as part of a nomad group. Taught the skills he needed to survive in a hostile environment from his parents, he decided to join a caravan to see the world outside the safety of his home. After getting well paid for the escort of a caravan to an oasis, he decided that he should keep doing this for as long as the pay is good. A few years later, he has learned more of the arts of combat and is currently roaming around the world, looking for a good way to make money.

His personality is somewhat gruff and harsh, but this is mainly because of a hard life of guarding caravans. He is a somewhat nice person once you get to know him and earn his trust, but otherwise he would prefer if you don't get in the way while he is on a job. He naturally want's everyone that he works with to stay alive and does his best to keep it that way, but is not above doing what is needed to survive in this harsh world.

EDIT: fixed. Please tell if it's alright according to the precious fluff.

You cannot join right now. I need to wait for an openning before I let anyone join. Besides, if I have too many oasis borns in a nomad group, then things will seem rather strange given some backstory elements I have yet to introduce.

I would suggest switching your born type to that of either city born or nomad born. The earliest I can put you in will be city born. Nomad will have to wait a bit longer, and oasis will be a pretty long wait.
Also, before you make the excuse "Well hes guarding this caravan..." I would like you to know this is NOT a caravan. This is a nomad group. In the sweet sweet fluff, Nomad groups never hire outsiders, especially mercs. They only train those within their groups for combat. I have some really good fluff for how the two other Oasis borns got in, but I cannot tell you what it is, for that would be a spoiler.

Notice that one of the tanks of the raiders has irresponsibly left their top hatch open.

No Changing the game world. If that was true, I would put it in the turn.

Also, the sand dune its on is far too far away to even consider throwing an explosive of some kind into it.

Ok, nomad it is. It seems to fit better anyway, he does seem the nomad type.

EDIT: It would really help to know some of the fluff for this world so we don't make mistakes like this all the time.

Grab Alya, set her down in a safe place without getting shot by a big ass tank.

(Sorry about that. Has a lot of sand and dust been kicked up by the fighting?)

Take cover if there is one out here, then aim carefully with my sniper rifle at the tank, waiting for an oppurtunity to fire at..
anything that is not protected by the tank's hull.
If there however is no cover, try to avoid getting shot.

Kaleh will be probably riding on one of our tanks and wait for it to advance closer to the enemy.

In that case, keep firing at the raiders and don't get shot.

John runs toward Alya, picking her up and jumping off the side before the car explodes, persumely from the tank's shell. They are both propelled quite a distance, before slamming into a nearby car. John, barely conscious and reduced to crawling, pulls an unconscious Alya across the explosive battlefield. John eventually gets enough strength to stand up. He is now surrounded by Nomad soldiers, all fighting the raiders nearby, and getting thrashed heavily.

The group outside the obliterated car scatters. Kaleh and Rajiya run for the nearest tanks and jump on. One of the Nomads, who introduced himself as Brother Ayberk, helped them inside. Dorian runs a bit and quickly jumps into a nearby sand pile, seeing their was no good cover anywhere. He proceeds to ready himself for the frist available shot on the tank. To his dismay, the tank was far too heavly armored for any good sinper shot to penetrate it. Jeff keeps shooting while running to provide strafeing fire. He manages to wound and kill a few Raiders, but eventually the tank spots him and lets out a deadly blast right behind him. He is sent flying, and smashes into the sand a few yards away. Somehow, he is still alive, and able to move.

What do you all do?
