Sorry about the lack of response; been busy and distracted.

Anyway, I'm just not feeling this. I could keep going for a while if you guys wanted- I do feel I owe you some semblance of a game for your troubles- but it's definitely on the way out.

Thoughts?

If you don't feel like it, don't do it. Your choice. I can understand. A bit disappointing, but I can relate.

Well, I only take more than 3 days without anything as a bad sign. Two days means he was just busy or something...can't get too impatient with these things...

crap crap crap

IronyOwl makes an interesting game with an active and invested playerbase, and then it dies, or is about to.

lol-There's no reason to force you to GM with us IronyOwl. If you really don't want to do it, whatever, you''ll not do it. Consign it to the dustbin of Data Hell! If your still willing to try, well go ahead...

Or maybe let someone else take over.

I'll be sad if the "Adventures of Dwee and Shiloh" never get off the ground.
I had a theme song and everything!  :(

Dwee and Shiloh! Catman and Manrat! Best friends for-never! Who will get skinned....and turned into clothing? Nobody knows!

YEAH....*freeze frame high five*

Turn 9: Not Much Gets Done

Quote from: SeriousConcentrate
Shiloh grinned to himself in satisfaction after throwing the thug out the window, then knelt by Tarran. He sniffed him, then patted at his cheek for a few moments. Smells alive, but he's out. I guess I'd better get him out of here before somebody really hurts him. "Come on," he said, lifting the man over his shoulders in a fireman's carry. "Let'sss get you outssside where we can get sssome fresssh air." He charged through the crowd to get outside and placed Tarran in a sitting position against the wall, then crouched by him and started patting him cautiously on the cheek again. "Come on, wake up, ssstrange one." He's awfully pale. Is something wrong with him? He didn't seem to be waking up, so Shiloh extended a claw and poked him with it.
[6][Luck 2] You stab Tarran in the cheek. He cries out and groggily opens his eyes, but he's not really in any position to do anything.

+SP: Wakeful Pain
Tarran now technically conscious; massive penalties to actions

Quote from: choobakka
Alright. Now that I'm out of that bar, I'll go look for some work.
[3][Luck 4] Some restaurant has a handful of people who'd like a bit of music while they eat. It's not much, but better than nothing.

+1 silver coin

Quote from: Dwarmin
Look for a pet sewer rat!
[4][Luck 1] You find a sewer rat. Mostly because it drops onto your face and begins trying to eat it.

Quote from: TolyK
do I know where Dwarmin went?
if so, follow him.
if not, kick the door/windows out and jump out feet first, ninja-style, landing on my feet.
[6] vs [5] That kobold was exceedingly crafty, but not quite crafty enough.
[2][Luck 6] That kobold was also exceedingly small, and evidently small enough. Good thing you're heavier than him also, or you'd never have accidentally popped the grate through while trying to wriggle through it.

Anyway, you're now in the sewer crammed through a grate.

+SP: Vermin Tracker
Dwarmin: +SP: Sneaky Scrabble

Quote from: Tarran
Try to wake up.
[2][Luck 4] Grgbrllgbrlg. [1] You also do not heal.

Quote from: Riccto
Lean in and throw a short left uppercut followed up by a high righthanded Overhand
[4] vs [5] You just can't land a solid blow!

The butterfly thug attempts to flee. [1] vs [6] Evidently crowd-surfing is not a valid escape maneuver.

The assassin also attempts to get out. [1] vs [5] He seems to have been under similar misconceptions as his lackey.

The crowd attempts to continue rampaging: [6] They do so admirably, spilling onto the streets.

No statuses for now. Turn's surprisingly easier to run without them. And by cutting out the crowd's attacks.

I suppose now's a good time to ask what specifically everyone liked about the game.

Just end it, no reason to drag it out if you don't want to do it. :-\

3 for end it, 1 for keep going... and he's on the waiting list.

Well, sorry for the disappointment. At least it was an interesting experiment in levelup/ability schemes.

Well, I suppose it's the setting and roleplaying, for me. We had a bunch of people come together and try their damnedest to roleplay. Which is more than likely due to how much freedom you gave us.

The rules are a little... confusing. I'll admit, the system was interesting, but certainly not something some RTD players (like me) can remember a whole lot.

Yeah, thanks for trying.

Too bad we don't have anyone that wants to do an RTD and isn't already a player to continue this. Oh well, I'll save my character for some other games if they ever come.

I don't know...exactly. I had crafted a very good character for myself, I liked him. The skill system was unique, and it seemed we were almost being given a freeform game world to mess around with. It seems everyone was really getting into it, too. I liked your dry wit, personally. It really made the turns nice.

I guess I was blinded by the potential...and Vermin Wriggle. Best skill ever.

I shall post a turn that will never be run in defiance of fate.

Dwee decides to eat the rat instead. Yum. Then I find my way out of the sewer.

You know, if you keep this up I'm going to send the character of this game into my own game with his own strength multiplied by 1000 to kill you. ::)

Alright, enough of that. Because if you provoke me any more I will put him in and you will have to go through the waiting list again if you want to get in again. I'm serious. :|

In all seriousness though, it did seem quite unfair that you did get to stay in at 0HP for several turns, especially with a waiting list...

Though I did just get in the game, which I had been pushing for, for a while, you know, with a character that I had thought would be very interesting. Have you ever thought of that? :|

Plus, it also depends on if death is at negative HP or 0.
