Modrons seem like anti-taint, pure law. Not "RAWR BERZERK KILL EVERYONE!!!!!111one!" Maybe the final form of a law-tainted or good-tainted person would have them decide that everyone around them is too much of a random factor or a sinner to survive.

Now that could be interesting. You'll still need to be more specific, though.

Modrons seem like anti-taint, pure law. Not "RAWR BERZERK KILL EVERYONE!!!!!111one!" Maybe the final form of a law-tainted or good-tainted person would have them decide that everyone around them is too much of a random factor or a sinner to survive.

You also don't necessarily need to go berserk and kill everyone directly. It's possible to be tainted with something obsessed with forging or protection, for instance.

Trouble is, that makes it kind of hard to gain power points, and you still turn it up to 11 when you transform, whatever you're doing. Which usually results in killing anything that is or might interfere with you dismantling the entire city or that could be physically capable of harming your charge.

This is Colossus the Bane of Cities, a huge granite statue. It menaces with spikes of human leather, elf leather, dwarf leather, bone, ... panther skin, and elven babies. On it are seven thousand pictures of cheese, in elf blood, human bone, gold, platinum, ... blue peacock leather, and iron. On it are seventeen million pictures of Colossus the Bane of Cities, a huge granite statue, in molybdenum, troll bone, demon horn, yak leather, ... etc, etc, etc.

Aight. I guess he's a Spawn of Azathoth then, which means that it doesn't actually go insane, its priorities just move from whatever it was doing before to "fuck up everything and blow it up if possible". Destruction core, if you will.

Well, your hint of angelic might have made it seem like a good idea, or at least a good experiment. I meant more specific with "what does an Archangel do?"

Also, your core isn't going to be speaking to you or anything, unless you count the urge to do whatever for more power.


Anyway, second post should be fully updated. You'll notice several people have a couple problems with their sheets. I also altered a few things, so let me know if you object to how I did so.

TURN 0

You all find yourselves in Sterrol, a rather large city. It's got a distinctly urban feel to it, with tall, square buildings, smoggy industrial regions, and degenerate slums.

Sterrol is the capital of its province, Nirren. Nirren is fairly large and mostly stable- it's got low-level warfare and subterfuge along all its borders, but isn't involved in any large-scale conflicts otherwise.

You can all sense opportunity here. There's places to see, people to interact with, and money and fame to be earned. Just don't cause too much trouble- the place didn't become stable by letting every half-baked swordsman run amok through its streets.


So, here we are. You can try to find each other and team up, look around for a plot hook to synch everyone up, or just run off and do your own thing.
