TURN 1: Intriguing LeadsInteresting RP, I'm gonna feel bad about murdering you all.
Go to the nearest Inn, and look for jobs.
[2][Luck 3] Alas, no opportunities present themselves.
She decides to look for a tavern where she could play some songs for money.
[4][Luck 5] A trio of men sitting in a nearby booth are interested in hearing some music. They also think you're
adorable.[1][Luck 4] Unfortunately, they've got crap taste in music. At least some nearby patrons didn't seem to mind, and they'd probably pay you for a "real" song.
He went ahead and entered the inn that the smell was coming from and looked around for anyone who looked like they might be offering work
[1][Luck 1] Glancing away from the kobold, you notice a reasonably well-dressed man sitting nearby. He meets your gaze with silent shock and outrage. He gets up in a huff and storms off to the other side of the room.
You're really not sure what just happened.
April found a bulletin on the wall and moved close to it, covering up most of the papers inadvertently as she looked around.
[5][Luck 2] You notice quite a few jobs from wealthy clients. Unfortunately they look old and probably already completed; still, they're at least potential contacts, if you wanted to look into them.
+SP: Contact ReadingActions: Go into the inn and look for work
[4][Luck 5] A man on one side of the room handwaves away an enraged-looking human fop, before rising and sauntering over to you.
"Well well well, what have we here..." he says, eyeing you like he's
trying to be sleazy and condescending. "Looks like someone looking for work.
Real work," he adds, quickly drawing his thumb across his throat. "Lord Ira's in need of some quality help."
Chrain otherwise sat at the bar, somewhat cramped and looking for work
[5][Luck 1] You manage to overhear two people talking. One's a young woman in respectable robes, the other's a man in ragged peasant clothes who looks decidedly like a frightened rabbit. In mannerisms, he's not chaos-warped.
"But I think they said they're mercenaries," the man whines, glancing at several other patrons.
"Even mercenaries need to eat, Jol. Besides, the men we're looking for fight for glory, not gold," the woman says confidently.
"But we haven't
got anything," he very nearly sobs.
Then they notice you leaning in their direction and nearly jump out of their skins, quickly glancing around for someone to hide behind or protect them. Between a half-demon, cat-thing, smaller cat-thing, kobold, distracted woman, and the bar's other patrons, they don't seem to have many options.
+SP: Intimidating EavesdropDwee'yip is a scrawny fellow, even for a Kobold. He's got ugly brownish green scales, with a longish tail, and has a nasty scar running from the top of his left eye to his chest. He's missing two fingers on his left hand.

(Picture)A tall, thin, catlike man with large hands and feet that have retractable claws. His hair is shaggy and brown, and usually ends up hanging over his right eye no matter what he does. His eyes are bright green with a thin pupil as all felines have, and he generally has his upper left fang outside of his lower lip. His face is mostly human, except for the aforementioned fang and a set of whiskers on each side of his nose that serve no discernible purpose. His clothing consists of blue pants and a gray long-sleeved shirt; his calves and forearms are wrapped with white cloth, serving to hold his clothes against his body. Over his feet are sturdy brown leather boots with a white cloth over them tied to the top of the boot. A pair of white belts crosses his waist, and his torso is protected by an iron cuirass. Over all of it is a green cloak, so dark and faded in color that it's almost black. Finally, he has a thin, brown-furred tail. It's basically there for aesthetic reasons, much like his ears; however, those are always hidden by his shaggy hair, and being that their fur is the same color as his hair it's hard to notice them even when they're visible.

Also, I'm
floored that you all wandered into an inn and (mostly) decided to work together. I figured getting you all into a party would be like herding cats.
