I'm actually going to try for more verbose replies than my ususl "I do this.".
Sorrel walked around the marketplace, dazzled by all of the sights. She thought to herself, Wow! So much stuff! So many more stores than we had in High Roost! Wait... Do I have any money? Damn! Maybe there's somewhere where I can play for some cash?

She decides to look for a tavern where she could play some songs for money.

Shiloh looked around as he passed through the gates of the city, sniffing at all the new scents in the air. The plains smell so much different than the swamps! And they're so much less damp, too, he thought happily, adjusting his cloak slightly. The air wasn't thick with humidity and the smell of mud, which was such a pleasant change of pace that it was slightly ridiculous. He twisted his body slightly this way and that as he walked to slide between the mass of people walking the streets, occasionally pushing his way through with a gentle hand to someone's shoulder. As he walked, taking in the the big city, he caught a familiar scent: food.

His stomach rumbled in response. I haven't eaten since I ran out of money two days ago, he thought ruefully. Maybe I should look for a job. He went ahead and entered the inn that the smell was coming from and looked around for anyone who looked like they might be offering work, his tail swishing around idly as he peered through the dark interior.

Only thing is I would probably consider Shiloh an Axeman or a Militiaman rather than a Wanderer. ^^

April sighed. The food rations she had managed to salvage were growing dangerously low. She decided to go to the area's inn to find a job. "Now what exactly would I be good at... and where are the jobs anyway...?" She continued to walk forwards muttering until she smacked her head on the inn's low doorframe. "OW!" She looked up. "Who the heck designed that?! No expertise at all! Primitive really..... Oh well." April found a bulletin on the wall and moved close to it, covering up most of the papers inadvertently as she looked around.

Dwee couldn't believe he was so far from home. The only life he had ever known was in the Narrows. He remembered good food, a nice little hovel and being respected for what he did...then it had all changed. One bad job...after years of perfect missions....how could he have known that stew was meant for the pups? 100 dead...the new boss had never liked him, and he was only too eager to put a bounty on him, and the enemies he had made over the years piled on. Every two-bit head hunter in the narrows had come after him. It didn't matter how many he killed...they would just keep coming. His only choice was to into the deeps...or...

Time for a change of scenery. Sterrol wasn't much, but it was a start. He figured he might even have to do some charity work to even prove himself around here. His wasn't the nicest of professions, and trust never came easy.

Of course, he would have to avoid being smashed on by an ungainly Human along the way. He could swear some saw him and deliberately went out of their way to try and step on him. Bastards...

He saw an Inn ahead. There was always work there. It might not exactly be his specialty, but any money was good right now. He wouldn't starve-there were always plenty of rats and bugs, after all...but he needed something to get by. Work.

He scooted around the legs of a dimwitted half cat-half man who was blocking the door, and looking totally lost. Poor bastard would probably get himself skinned before nightfall. Dwee was already half considering it himself.

As a parting shot, he spoke in rapid low speech "Oudda my wayer, cat-man, fer I turna you inter a rug."

Actions: Go into the inn and look for work

Shiloh sidestepped and looked at the rude little creature, then crouched. Even so, he was still almost half again as tall as the kobold. "Awfully big talk for sssuch a sssmall thing," Shiloh purred quietly. "You look like you might be fun to play with. Perhapsss I ssshould tosss you into the air and bat you around a bit." The kobold did look like he would be fun to kick around and pounce on. He flexed his claws idly. "Or maybe I'll take your ssskin, make a nice pair of glovesss with the ssscalesss and eat the ressst. Kobold eyesss are consssidered a delicacy by sssome ssswampdwellersss."

If a bar fight breaks out, Sorrel will stand on a table and play awesome background music.

Otherwise, stick with playing for money.

Shiloh glanced over at the newcomer before returning his eyes to the sneaky-looking little creature before him. "Go right ahead. I'm not ssstanding in your way," he said. He'd already moved out of the doorway, after all. "All I asssk isss that you don't ssstand between me and my lunch here." He ran his rough tongue over his fangs. "Unlesss, sssmall one, you have a more interesssting proposssal? Perhapsss work of sssome sssort?" If he could buy some food he wouldn't have to eat this kobold, and truth be told he didn't really want to. This whole incident was a game to him, to see how he would react to the threats.

April heard the beginnings of a fight in the front of the inn. She walked over there, knowing from having seen it repeatedly what these things can turn into. "If you'll excuse me, may I ask that you not Get into a barroom brawl? These things spread, and I'd rather not get knocked out by a bottle to the head whilst I'm trying to have my noon meal. Your little brawl could get a lot worse" April started muttering more quietly. "Especially when the guards come and clap anyone who looks like they remotely had anything to do with it in chains...."

Dwee liked this one. Not as clueless as he seemed. But he was a little out of his element. He calculated he would be out the door and into the back alley, and down the sewer drain in about 10 seconds. This guy, he was fast, but no one was that fast. Then, like before with his brothers and all the rest, Dwee would wait and watch. He would make a special recipe. One drop in the cats next meal...it would be his last meal. Well, interesting to see what would happen anyway. He didn't mind killing, but he hated to kill without being paid.

"We see who wuld be eatin who, yah? You mighta find me a little tougher dan you think...dis one's got a nasty sting for such a small meal-and i've killed bigga than you.

Ahh, funny cat-man, we shuld be killing brothers! I never trusta man nor beast who wouldn't o' wanta to murda me first glance. You got the surviva instincts, I like tha'. We work together, yah? We make good team, cause whoeva's the weak gets hisa throat cut in sleep...or a specia' drink with his meal, make him puke soul. That's a my way, whats yours?

Turning aside to the human woman with the funny little toys on her belt-Dwee had heard they shot lighting, demon spirits or dragon fire, something like that, pretty deadly if they actually worked-and said...

"You stay outta dis, we jus' two killa's having a nice convasation. Dere be no blood shed here, no no. It's not mah way. I kill quiet and I kill clean."

April sighed. "You can hardly kill someone quietly in the door of a busy bar at noon in the middle of the busy capital of a busy province." April had a moment of remembrance, not pleasant at all. "Like my province used to be before those bloody wind mages destroyed it."

Chrain smiled and spun around on the creaking barstool, clapping his hands as they all quarrelled. "You are a so small..yet so funny." He said with a bellowing laugh "Its amazing how much spunk the gods pack into you little guys."
