I was talking about the second one (about tag teaming), not the first. :p

TURN 3: Legends Are Born

Quote from: choobakka
Sorrel left the bar and went to look for some other street performers, especially dancers. If she found a place where people seemed to be especially free with money, she would play some music there.
[2][Luck 2] Er, this place is all slums and seedy taverns. Maybe you're in the wrong area?

Quote from: Dwarmin
Action: Go with Riccto, pretending to be a "hero"
[6][Luck 6] The poor saps soon come to the conclusion that you're just as mighty and noble a hero as the giant. Of course, this also means they think you're just in it for the glory.

+SP: Champion Bluff

With nothing better to do, the rest of you introduce yourselves more formally as well.
Quote from: SeriousConcentrate
I'm a cat!
[2][Luck 6] They're not very impressed by your exploits. Maybe telling them about how easily you made three gold was a mistake.

On the bright side, the man thinks you're unfathomably wealthy and the woman thinks the children of the village will absolutely love you.

Quote from: Powder Miner
I'm a gunslinger!
[4][Luck 5] They appreciate that you're probably a good fighter, and find particular respect in your starving wanderer aspect. You're an honest woman working for her meals, like they are.

Quote from: Riccto
I'm tall!
[5][Luck 5] You continue to awe the peasants with your godlike stature and legendary exploits. If the rest of the village reacts like this you're probably gonna have a lot of children named after you.

+SP: Heroic Story

Quote from: TolyK
I'm invisible!
[4][Luck 6] They appreciate another fighter, and you manage to turn their lack of noticing or caring about you until now into proof of your stealthiness. They're extremely impressed.

Quote from: Tarran
Change my finger-breaking into a flat out punch to the face.
[3] vs [6] The man effortlessly slides back on the floor, smirking, as your punch goes wide.

[2+1] vs [4] Quick as a rat, he draws a dagger and lunges. It's a fluid motion at your neck, but you pull back far enough to avoid it. His expression changes to an irritated sneer.

Spoiler: Sorrel (choobakka) (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Chrain (Riccto) (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Enigma Unscien (TolyK) (click to show/hide)

Alright, timerape averted. If you'd like to simply walk out on the fight, you can get to the village or deal with other stuff prior to the actual turn, unless you run into something that requires rolls, like a bandit ambush or non-RP haggling.

Man, I already know exactly how this is gonna go. Static turns suck, but I can't really freeform it because more rolls = more experience.

Hrm...

Sorrel decided to go back to the tavern she just left. If there was a fight, she was going to do her best to escalate it with out bein involved. For teh lulz. And because she hated that bar.

Let me put it to you this way:

[3+1] vs [4]

"Sure," he says, dropping his dagger. A split second later he lunges, catching it again and trying to jam it in your throat. You barely dodge his sudden sneak attack.

Shiloh considered their words. Wealthy? Sort of. I've never had three gold coins before. He'd never actually had any money of his own before, actually. The village he had grown up in was more of a commune than anything, and the chief had handled all the trading with the outside world for supplies they couldn't make themselves like armor and weapons. He wasn't sure, speaking of that, where his own cuirass and tomahawk came from. On the other hand, children are always nice. He had passed through a small hamlet or two on his travels and the human children had been fascinated by him. Then again he got the idea none of them had ever seen a Nekomimi before and his presence was a novelty to the entire community.

Still, kids seemed to appreciate being grabbed, thrown into the air, and rolled around as long as he didn't start kicking them like he did his cousins at home. "Well... maybe after we get done killing the monssstersss, I can ssspend sssome time playing with the children," he said to the woman. "Are you ready to go?" he asked the others. He was itching to go kill some monsters!

"You asked for it!"

Grab my sword and swing downward up and cut his dagger arm.

Dwee had never run into people so...trusting. No wonder they had a monster problem. He mght actually feel a little guilty when he robbed them, now.

"Ready when you ah cat-man. Lets uh go be big damn-ned heroes, huh?"

"Whoa!" April noticed the fight going on in the back of the tavern. She uneasily put her hand on her pistol hilt.

I guess I might as well put the other half of Tarran's turn up.

[3] vs [4] You're not entirely sure how to swing "downward up," but he pulls his arm back so it doesn't matter too much. He seems almost offended that you're not dead yet.

Grab his dagger arm and knee him in the chest.
