I find it absolutely hilarious that we got 12 points from Poland. And 7(?) from Ireland. That was pretty funny too.

Yeah... an attempt to be nice, I guess =/

Nah. our singer was Polish. They pretty much voted for themselves. Also there's a lot of Lithuanians in Ireland. If anyone votes for us, it means there's a lot of Lithuanian immigrants in that country. When Georgia(?) gave points to Lithuania, my father said "Oh, so it pays off to live in Georgia now too?". I laughed.

Edit: Also, you can't deny the sexiness of shiny underwear.

Oh, man... never mind, then.  Sorry about that.  Kinda sad...

Yeah, I wasn't so fond of Azerbaijan.

And Hungary in 22nd with 0 points from Poland?  Wow.  That's a shock.  To me, anyway.
Well, the Eastern European countries are especially infamous for bloc voting.

Generally they get over twice as many points as "unaligned" nations like Germany/UK/France.

They're not more prone to it that anyone else, there's just more of them. Not to mention that people in different clusters/group tend to share musical scenes and thus like the sameish stuff. Especially smaller countries.

Well, yeah.  The fact that they do it better than everyone else is what makes them "infamous" :P.

Eurovision is fun. Really trashy pop songs sung by cute guys dresses like red power rangers is a good night.

Meganecro to point out the best song from Eurovision 2013:
I give you the contestant from Romania.

And Greece sent their typical "oh god we can't afford to win" entry. They nearly won.

All I know about this is my Mom was utterly disgusted By Serbia's song and Costumes.

Is... Romania seriously using Dracula as their contestant?

Didn't actually see that. I only saw a little bit of the final, there's only so much of this shit you can take in one go.
But I'll check. Hmmm. Oh.
I don't have a problem with this at all.

All I know about Eurovision is that it is awful and the UK puts in an effort to come last every time.

Perhaps. Also note the giant, blood-filled condoms suspended in the background. They're easy to miss first time around.
