------------
Name: Decia Equus
Tibers: 163T
Resources:
-5 Poor quality horses
-150 slaves
Favor: 0
Businesses:
-Horse Ranch: 12T + 5 Poor quality horses
-Oat Farm: 5T
Positions: Horse aux leader: Pilus Prior Aulus Decia Equus
Senators: 1
------------

Business:
It is time house Equus branched out from just horses. Although they are a true love of the house we can not survive with them alone. So we must branch out.

-40t is put into making a cattle farm. The meat, bones, and milk will be sold on the open market, but the hides will be kept for...
-40t is put into making a tanners workshop, it shall turn the hides from the cattle farm into strong leather to be sold on the market or...
-60t will be spent on making a leather workers workshop, it shall use some of the hides from the tanners workshop to make fine leather goods for the market, or to make fine leather armor to sell to the legions.

Also, 100 slaves will be sent to work in our new and old businesses, hopefully bringing costs down and profits up.

I will also donate 20 slaves (the most rebellious and skilled at fighting) to house Tullius to be used in their new amphitheater.

Senators:

Our senator will take 20t and the five horses and go to recruit and train personal horse legionnaires for our house. If 20t is more then it takes(I hope so), the extra will be put towards recruitment of normal legionnaires.

3t will be saved.

((Damn Equus, that raid had made you a pretty big powerhouse!))

Senator Augustine, I see that you are investing into training camps. When you suggest all houses invest into training grounds, would this be on top of what you are investing, as a public works? Or would these camps be separate?

"All invested money would be indeed go into a public training training program for all soldiers, as well as milita and ordinary citizens looking to learn self defense. House Augustine will control the camps under Imperial rules.

If House Augustine cannot convince the other Houses of this need, then we would understandly use the money to fund training camps for our only our own legions.

We would like to a public donation of at least 100 tibers, of which House Augustine has already set forth half."

In the new year, House Aragii will gladly contribute.

((Also, we really shouldnt worry too much about various houses getting huge influxes. Our fortunes will rise and fall with various years and events. For example, I'm already set up nicely to get a large boost to my pottery guild when we conquer the Etruscans. Cause yknow, We're totally going to.))

"Decia Equus, I thank you for your generous gift.  I will ensure you and your family have a seat of honor at the inaugural event when construction is completed!"

"House Tullius, we are eternally grateful for your contribution to the arts and culture of Rome. This is the least we could do. We know that though your efforts this city shall become the highest statement on sophistication, and we happy help you in this matter in what small ways we can."

I'd changed my turn to donate money instead of upgrading the javelin workshop.

Please Discuss:
The mob seems to be calling for more land.  Perhaps they may be distracted?

It is about time we have a festival that celebrates the greatness of Rome!
"Perhaps if every House could donate 5 or 10 Tibers we could truly have a a grand celebration and make the people of Rome think of other things than owning land."

Name: Aequus
Resources: 4T
Businesses: Logging Camp (Roma 20T), Fletcher (Roma 7T)
Positions: Nada.
Senators: 1 (M. Aequus)

30T: Invest to provide passage, tools and everything else the landless plebs needed to establish a farming operation in the newly conquered lands. Main output shall be grain, vine, livestock.
20T: Build a charcoal klin. Charcoal shall be used for heating and the metal industry.

M. Aequus propose to build a bath.

(Seriously lacking behind, as wood does grow on trees. Should be getting ungodly profits from supplying - almost every commercial venture made by others. I see my future lie away from Rome. Sigh.)
