Kevin waited at the door. Once Daniel was out, he was closing it, locking it, and scooting on in to the other room across the way to try and barricade the library. Just in case.

Sirvius sighed. He wasn't in any condition to go help with whatever that commotion was.

Gather some more of that silk to take with me and rest up some more.

He clears the doorway with a leap and glances back inside. He sees Daniel trip (3) and hit the floor, the Gryffon quickly gaining ground on him as it stamps down the hallway.

Aso sprints out the doorway and heads up the stairs as fast as she can, but they're pretty long stairs. It'll take her a little bit to get to the top.

Sirvius looks around, but it looks like that was all the silk that hadn't rotted away. (6)

Kevin shook his head and notched an arrow. I suppose I'd better help him out... he thought, firing it at the Gryffon. "Hurry!" he yelled at Daniel.

I put my hand on the blue Anvil. Chances are, its going to admit water.

Then again, it may also release some other bullshit that'll just finish me, but I am dead either way. May as well choose the way that gives out hope.

Daniel gets the fuck up and runs for the door, stabbing at the Gryffon if it gets too close.

Sirvius continues to attempt to recover health, hoping to not die to the next stiff breeze that comes along.

Kevin fires a wild arrow at the Gryffon, missing and twanging off a cage bar. (9)

Leon puts his hand on the blue glowing anvil. He immediately freezes solid.
He also takes 1 fire damage.

Daniel, inspired by fear, scrambles onto his feet and sprints towards the door, screaming foreign curses. The Gryffon bangs noisily after him as he stumbles, falls backwards, and slides through the doorway, kicking up dust and banging against the library door. Kevin slams the heavy steel door behind him and bars it as the Gryffon hits it at full speed. A sizeable dent appears, but the door holds.

Aso jumps up the stairs two at a time, running into the hallway and turning towards the one containing Kevin and Daniel, sliding into place before resuming her run, seeing the two staring wide-eyed at her.
She gains 2 HP.

Sirvius gains 1 HP, plus the 1 HP he forgot to gain last turn. He stares at the rat corpses from his seat on the floor as they flare up and disappear as the spontaneous fire fades.

"Let's get some barriers between us and it, shall we?" Kevin said. He entered the library and waited for Daniel so he could lock and blockade the door, then search the room for useful stuff.
