Leon grabs a torch and takes the route no one else is taking. He becomes very catious at this point, testing any ground that looks remotely suspicious.

He also keeps an eye out of any valuable items. He will also take a catious approach to any of it if he finds any.

Sirvius aided Daniel in searching for and acquiring any loot the place had to offer. And clues, something might also be a clue.

Aso looks down the branches.
"Im going to take the staircase now. Follow if you want."

Daniel pillages the room like he was trying to amass an enormous amount of bad luck. (7)
He fails to find anything useful, even man-eating snakes.
Sirvius is just kind of glancing at what Daniel is doing, so he doesn't find anything extra. (7)

Kevin wanders cautiously down the darkened hallway. It seems to get wetter and wetter, the masonry more and more crumbly. The torches have either been put out or fallen off the wall as it crumbled. He reaches two doors, one heavy and of iron, the other sturdy and wooden.

Aso wanders towards the staircase and starts to head down it. It's a very long spiral staircase, so she takes careful steps as she proceeds. A little while later and she is still descending. She passes a doorway, but the staircase keeps going.

Leon wanders into the other ordinary hallway. The floor crumbles away beneath him... (8+2=10)
He barely scrabbles to the other side as a gaping hole opens beneath where he was standing, stone blocks falling into the long drop beneath into an underground river. It would take a mighty and risky leap to cross it now.

"Hm, perhaps we should come back for anything we want anyway," Sirvius says.

Sirvius heads down the hallway with the spiral staircase, and down said staircase. He goes through any doors he finds on the way down.

Kevin looked at the doors, then nudged the wooden one open with a foot.

Aso kicks open the door, swords brandished.

Daniel helps Kevin. As a competent leader is better than an improvising teammate.

I guess the fact that I was very careful had no effect on my fate.

Keep carefully moving along. Keep eye out for goodies. Also look out for large planks to bridge the gap.

Sirvius arrives at the doorway down the stairs after Aso enters, peeking his head inside. The inside of the room looks like some sort of laboratory. A few beakers have survived the ravages of time, but mostly everything is crushed and bent and smashed. But most importantly, he spots Aso in the middle of the room, fighting off a bunch of gigantic, savage rats!

Kevin nudges open the doorway into a ruined library. Dampness has gotten into most of the books here. They litter the wet floor, pages torn out and ruined, spines snapped, piles of books fallen from crushed bookshelves. The stone here is, surprisingly, mostly intact, though small streams of water run down them.

Leon dusts himself off and carefully steps down the hallway, keeping one foot in front of him so the same nasty surprise won't happen again. The hallway leads uneventfully down to a single door.

"RATS! COME ASSIST!" Sirvius boomed in his best commander's voice, hoping his allies could hear him through the stone. He then drew his swords and rushed to Aso's aid- probably not wise, but they simply couldn't afford to lose anyone to a pack of vermin.

Attack rats!

Kevin shook his head. There was nothing to interest him in a library; if it wasn't a wanted poster, he wasn't reading it. Instead he turned and opened the other door.

Daniel continues to follow Kevin, and something in his subconscious makes him root for a rat.

Aso twirls her swords around like helicopter blades, fending off the rats.
