WOAH WHEN DID ALL THESE PEOPLE GET HERE
Hmmm... Is there magic in this game? If so, can you explain how it works? Can you also tell me the theme of the game world as well please?
NOPE. No magic. Ever. It's medieval times! It's like uh... UH... shit I forget the name, but there was an LP here of this medieval game that had giant spiders guarding books and you traveled around the countryside in a party fighting robber barons and the such. It's like that! That was a big inspiration point.
Backstory: As his surname suggests, Kevin was born to a small farming family. He never had any interest in working the land and spent most of his time shirking his duties to go and hunt in the nearby woods. This state of affairs continued until the age of sixteen, when he came home one day to find his house burning, his parents salughtered, his sisters kidnapped, and his younger brother mortally wounded. Caleb had time for only a few parting words before he passed, and Kevin swore to find the bandits that had raided his family's farm. His only clue was a tattoo Caleb had described, a pair of crossed swords over a spiral on the leader's left bicep.
Over the course of the next four years Kevin built up a reputation as a bounty hunter, bringing in several outlaw corpses. But yet, he never found the man he was looking for. Each body he turned in brought him no closer to the tattooed bandit he was looking for. He despaired of every getting his vengeance and contemplated retiring to be a simple hunter and trapper, living off of the land... and then his fortune changed. As he made camp beside a river one night, a small group of outlaws attacked him. While searching their corpses, he found a note signed with the mark his brother had described, stating to kill this man before he became a problem.
His spirit refreshed, Kevin threw himself into finding the tattooed man once more. It took him another two years before he picked up a solid lead, and another year beyond that for him to get close to his target. That day finally came when a local militia enlisted his aid for a raid on a bandit camp, and he agreed as he was in need of funding for his travels. It just so happened that the encampment they were about to attack was that of the tattooed man, and when Kevin saw him he fought his way towards him.
Consumed with wrath, the mercenary took his time to kill the outlaw, disabling him with shots to the legs and the arms. He stood before the wounded man, preparing one final shot for the man's forehead... but the arrow was never fired as one of the other bandits came to his leader's rescue, stabbing Kevin in the back. Luckily for him the blow was not fatal, but the bandit and the tattooed man escaped while he was stunned. Kevin was enraged. He would find this man again and this time he would make him pay. This time he would go right for the kill...
You don't seem to have used your additional 20 points! Are you converting them to silver?
Hey, it's the Squeege. Sure, I'll join, never tried this anyway. Do we have to put a specific language?
Yes, but it's just an earthly language that would have been around in medieval times. We start in England, so everyone speaks English, anyway. You could choose Latin, for instance.
I could totally take this in all the wrong ways.
You mean all the right ways...~
Screw it, i'm in for the heartbreak. I will also reserve the right to bug the hell out of you if you don't update.

BACKSTORY AND MOTIVATION: A wily man, who possesses plenty of wits. He was originally a traveling doctor, going from place to place, village to village, healing the sick and injured and birthing babies, just to earn his daily bread. It was a hard life on the road, and he learned to always keep his senses sharp and keen so to stop being caught by suprise by brigands and deserters from the various armies that have been traveling from province to province. In time, he decided that his skills could be used in the military of a town belonging to a lord of some reputation.
After being granted a uniform and weapon, he was assigned a post on the town watch, specifically on the walls of the town to watch for invaders. Unfortunately, the town was soon attacked by a rival lord who wanted the rich mines that the town had control over. Upon seeing the large incoming army, he decided that it was a good idea to leave quietly. Sadly, his friends that also worked in the watch were not so lucky as he was, and he later saw their heads on pikes leading to the gates of the town.
Swearing revenge for his fallen comrades, richard left to find a way to better his position and to find a way to strike back at this evil lord, and even his king if he could.
