Ya, I was having 2 hours of enjoyment out of the 'demo' until it crashed. I hope it autosaves.

I got this game running at a good speed except it was partially unplayable at 1024x768, since it would not go any lower.

Played the demo, enjoyed it enough to want more. Harvesting lifepods is a chore though, especially with the AI ships trying to shoot them rather than collect them. It's kinda funny how they get tossed into open space if they decide not to join you, though.

They asked me how well I understood theoretical physics. I told them I had a theoretical degree in physics. They said welcome aboard.
... Yes, the hugs are for everyone.  No stabbing, though.  Just hugs.

harvesting life pods gets easier when you have access to tractor beams.

I got it, and it's indeed a nice game. Although it keeps you wishing for better and better ships, I was kind of disappointed at the disconnected feel of the game world. A bit like Starscape in the sense that I felt I had to grind. I'm a big sucker for open-world stuff, and it's open-world, but you don't really feel like you're having an impact. This only happens in the last part of the game...

That part is pretty nice, but you're still doing the same things over and over, and it's clearly fairly linear and scripted.

Still, definitely worth the money, and I hope they'll take this to the next level! :)

I DO have to agree with the fact that the game world isn't deep. But I think we are all missing the point. The game is still BETA, imagine it in all it's 1.0 glory :P
