Think this is probably a bit alpha for a total conversion, unless.......   Deon when are you going to knock out a game of your own?  it is becoming obvious you have the skills for the thing and Id say many of the forumites are thinking similar to me

Programming requires time, and I don't have any with the wife, son and diploma :P. I dream about having 48 hours/day though :P.

Use something like RPG maker, does most of the work for you :P

Heh, he definitely has more talent than me, calling people with mom's smartphone and downloading cartoons from the interenet in his (almost) 5 years. I try to protect him from computers/media though, because it's a bit early for him, but I can't watch him all the time he's not sleeping :P. Yesterday I've caught him "trying random numbers" on my cellphone... Didn't work well, he almost called to Moscow. The little hooligan knows that the numbers should start with "+7", it's NOT good :P.

Zombie mode = Awesome!

Keep up the good work! I just wish this is at least 2.5D (you know, like the one in GTA 2 et cetera)

Hehe. Finally, I was afraid that SerialKicked forgot about us :P. Now it's time to make the graphical/item/effects mod when I get time for THIS version.


P.S. You can play as a cop or a zombie now, there are different "classes" to choose from. I am going to slack a bit now and quickly update my graphics for it (since there's now a graphical pack support).

And here it is: just put the "deonapocalypse" folder from the archive in your /GRA/gfx/ folder and select it when you make a new world under "tilesets" option.

For stores in which you can specify a quantity, you can decrease the quantity to zero (with appropriate cost), click buy, and use it with normal effect (it appears in your inventory and disappears as normal once used). Kind of an amusing bug, if trivial, since the only thing you'll really want just one of so far is the food, as far as I can tell.
