Hehe, there are no cars yet, they are a long term dev. goal. Right now it's about city simulation, gang warfare and tons of random people with houses, jobs and walking around the map.

Also there's a solid roguelike framework.

This may sound not a lot, but show me a roguelike which does it? I remember none. The only close one is Rogue Survivor, and it lacks a lot of elements GRA has right now. And GRA is VERY moddable, you can add new buildings on the fly. It's like a dream came true :). Definitely follow it.

P.S. I think I unconsciously have became a GRA promoter...

Actually most roguelikes that do similar, allowing you to transform into other characters that follow entirely different rules then that of the main character, often do it badly or do it in a way that it was not really meant to be.

Though I have yet to see what GRA is really about anyhow.

Do what? If you can tell me a single roguelike which simulationeously simulates many locations (at least 100) with hundreds of actors which sleep, eat, work and kill each other in real time, I'll hug you! :D

Ohh I thought you meant the cars... since people going about their thing and doing their jobs isn't all that interesting and even one of the Ultima games done this.

Especially since people arn't REALLY doing their jobs.

I don't know such details, they are not moddable yet. But by looting their houses, it's definitely enough to have a few meds, a full fridge of food and some clothers in cabinets.

Notice: unmodded zombies are almost impossible to kill. I've modded them a bit, just go into the "modding" and reduce their regeneration a bit, and it's okay :).

Zombies are pretty buff.  I ran from them pretty much the whole time.  After I looted enough dosh to get an AK-74 and loadsa bullets for it I was able to kill 'em, though it took 9~30 rounds each on burst fire.
