You waken to the blaring noise of your alarm clock. It was that dream again. Your not sure what it means. Perhaps it was something you ate?

Getting of bed, you take a look at your small apartment. Its not much, but its home.

What do you do?

You go over to your bathroom and take a look in the mirror. You look like completely normal nineteen year old American. Living in Italy, sure, but still normal.
You have black hair and Amber eyes. You have a small stubble growing out of your face. You also note the large scar on your chest, gotten from when someone attempted to mug your parents when you were fifthteen. You survived. Your parents weren't so lucky...

What do you do?

Down the meds. Reality keeps you alive. Nothing is real anymore. WAKE UP

You take a pair of your daily medication. And perhaps something a little extra from your "Stash".
You head outside the bathroom to fetch some clothes. You find a good pair T-shirt and Jeans to wear. You return to the Bathroom to put them on.

As you leave the Bathroom, you notice that your running late for work!

What do you do?

What is your name? The world is ending, Damien, you know that. We wish it so, we wish it nay.

You run out the door, skipping breakfast. As you hurry down, quickly take from your memory the directions to the taxi place you work at.

As you rush to the door of your apartment, the landlord notices you and says,
"Dove vai in tanta fretta, Damien?"
"Lavoro! Sono in ritardo!" you quickly yell back to him as you move out the door.

You pick up a newpaper as you hurry to work. The date clearly says "April 12, 2053". The headlines are "La guerra in Grecia e nella Bassa Rack Italia Casualties alta!", and under it : "I funzionari della Repubblica di Roma stazione della maggiori soldati sul confine meridionale in risposta alla crescente minaccia!". Headlines have been all about the Naples and Athens war recently.

As you run, you remember the shortcut to work. Maybe you should take it...

You consider taking a car to work, but then quickly dismiss the thought. You don't have a car.

Follow the railroad shortcut

You put the newspaper in your back pocket and keep running, and turn into an allyway. There is a wall coming fast at you.

You do as you have always done and run on top of it, pausing once at the top, and then wall-run your way up to the roof tops. From there you run toward the northern side of the building, and jump to the next.
After a little time of naviagating the rooftops, you find yourself on the top of the building next to your taxi place. You slide down the nearest pole, and walk to work from there. The route saves you a good five to six hours of walking each day!

You walk inside, and your boss yells,
"Damien! Dove diavolo sei stato?!"
