I've been wondering why the words "anus" and "slut" are in the Name Fortress/Group page of embark. Can't you add any other naughty words?

They're disabled for most civs by default, so you wouldn't usually see them outside of custom names. Nothing stopping you adding them, though.

But dwarves remove the UNTOWARD symbol from their names, so you'll never see any dwarven fortress named like that.

My daughter is interested, but isn't quite savvy enough to have the controls down. She's not quite three. I'd rather her first fort not be named "Squeezinganus the Secretions of FurySluts" or somesuch.

Flavorwise, dwarves don't use untoward because in the game they are presented as virtually lawful good.

Lawful Insane maybe but not good their morals are to put it mildly absofuckinglutely bonkers these are he people who gleefully murder kittens and puppies for their meat and bones, who slaughter tribes of [insert animal name]men to steal their leather and food, who hack a man to death for not making the slade mechanisms the King wanted, while simultaneously being utterly against animal cruelty, and killing elves for existing.
