The world ending on the 21st May is something a rather large group of Christians believe.

So, as a goddenying dirty lack-of-morals atheist, I ask you this. If the world does end, what will you be most annoyed about? I'm annoyed that a week before my 21st birthday the world ends.

Well, that's true. But I don't think the doomsday prediction that comes true has to be popular, or that far in advance.

THIS, very much so.  So tired of people trying to predict the date when not even Jesus knows when it is.  Yeah.  Let the theologians argue about what Jesus meant by THAT.  Also here is the context.  This is the section we use to justify why there's going to be a Rapture.  As for when it's supposed to happen... I guess it's supposed to be a surprise.
