I have been following this for a bit, and the game has great potential. The creator is working hard on the .40 update which is going to add a bunch of buildings. Latest post:

As I said before, I'm keeping my head down for a while so I can get some serious coding done. So not many updates or forum presence from me, I better give you guys another progress update.

So I'm still working on the big big 0.40 update. In a previous post I talked about the new research, mining, farming and brewing features.  Since then, I have added some more stuff.

... [said stuff]...

I'm sure you all want an estimated release date, but I'm not sure.  It depends how much I want to add in before release, I know people like the regular updates but I work very fast when I take the time out to do a bigger one like this.  I would guess around 2-3 weeks from now.  I will release a test version first on my forums, which I will call 0.39, and then that will probably give me another weeks worth of bugs and fine-tuning to do.

Hmm...picked this up in a bundle a while back but didn't do much with it. Really ought to get the latest version and try it out again.

well, some sort training is now in place instead of your character noobing it, basic construction of base is in place, Bounty system is in place also. This new version will effectively bring the gamer into the economy now.

The training does however take FOREVER! To the extent where I think it was put in there for npcs.

Looks superb - though I'm still waiting for the developer to reply to my messages on Desura about the potential for transferring the game I bought on GamersGate to there for ease of updating!

So the good thing is, this is on Steam now (complete with big blue warning that it is still in alpha.)

The bad news is it still has no sound.

Oh that's neat.

No sound isn't too much of a problem, gives the opportunity for many people to play their own music, relevantly themed or not =p

Has the developer said anything about making the game Co-op?  It would be pretty neat to be able to work for/rival your friends in this kind of setting.
