workaholic clerk

I set my nobles menu to high precision, however instead of working to high precision and then stop, my clerk is still working for highest precision

I think that is normal, as the stocks change all the time.
Keeping that in mind you can train yourself several legendary clercks in no time. Especially if you need a Captain of the Guard who can pay his room, this spare clerck is your dwarf.

I get High precision without any extra work, set the clerk to highest until he hits legendary then set him back down to high. I think there is a set amount of game time that has to be invested to stay at any particular level. Because if I change clerks after that no work has to be done until I set it back to higest
