Darvi starts running (6), but he turns left before even going into the door. It looks like he's about to faceplant into the wall...but he ends up plowing straight through it! In a surprising turn of events some sort of room that doesn't look like it's part of the challenges. Instead it has a number of large screens on one of the walls, with controls underneath them. There's also a desk, and some sort of metal door.
Taricus carefully moves into the hallway(3). He looks around for traps before each step, but doesn't find any. Suddenly, he hears something move. Another glass sheet is sliding down, blocking his exit, but not the one on the other side of the hallway. Because he was moving so carefully, he hasn't made much progress yet.
Taricus: 15/100 of the hallway.
Ochita is moving a lot faster than Taricus(6). So fast, in fact, he makes it to the end of the hallway in a single turn! He pushes the button, saving his partner Darvi on the other side of the hallway from the traps...
Wait, where IS Darvi? He realizes Darvi hasn't gone into the hallway yet. As he scans the hallway, he too notices the glass sheet that has blocked his escape. If Darvi doesn't hurry, he might be in trouble.
Frelock grasps around for something he can throw at the button(6). He throws it into the hallway without even looking at it.
The good news is, it flies all the way to the end of the hallway and slams into the button there, deactivating the traps on Frelock's side of the hallway. The bad news is, it turns out that object he threw was Knave, who looks to be in quite some pain. Frelock is just about to run into the hallway to rescue Knave, when a large glass sheet slides down out of the ceiling and blocks the entrance.
Knave damage: 1-4 (3).
I think this is how I'll be doing all the damage rolls, just come up with some appropriate roll for the damage that might be taken and use that. It means I don't have to make every roll 1-6, but that I also don't completely get to decide how much damage someone takes.
SeriousConcentrate decides to throw caution to the wind and just run(2). He doesn't trigger any kind of trap, but in his haste to get to the button, he does trip.
damage: 1-2 (1).
SeriousConcentrate: 30/100 of the hallway.
Knave is still lying under button 2 (3), and sadly there is no way for him to run to button 1 from where he is.
While all this is going on, DinosaurusRex_x and Bdthemag are debating whether there is any point to doing the challenge.
DinosaurusRex_x (6) vs Bdthemag (5)
Dino: There's no point to moving forward. At least in here we're safe, and besides, our goal isn't completing the challenges, it's killing the mole!
Bd: Maybe, but they can't have an infinite amount of challenges. We could beat them all and get out that way instead!
Dino: Even if we do beat all the challenges, seems to me we'll just end up in an empty room. This whole thing is about us killing the mole, there's no way they'd let us out before we do.
Bd: Well, we still don't know who the mole is, though. These challenges were probably meant to help us figure out who the mole is.
Dino: You're wrong. Just look at this room. There's so many ways to hurt one of the other players; even if someone does do so, who's to say it wasn't an accident? No, these challenges were meant as a cover for the mole - a way for them to kill the other players without them realizing he was doing it on purpose.
Bdthemag didn't have anything to say to that. Instead, he just sat down next to Dino, thinking.
Knave: 6/9
SeriousConcentrate: 8/9
