I believe it was a regular wooden door. Not an artifact door, just a regular old door

Maybe it was the death of one of her enemies?

Eh, maybe she's not easily moved to pity.  And it's kinda hard to tell which door she might have admired isn't it?  You can't just assume it was the last one she walked through, especially since it occurred before she witnessed the death.

I once had a dwarf noble who slept in a fantastic bedroom, dined in a legendary dining hall, admired a fine weapon trap, had a wonderful bath, admired a fine door, and had a decadent drink recently, but because one of her mandates were not fulfilled, she was very unhappy.

And then there's always the other dwarf who's seen the death of his friends, spouse, child, pet, suffered from hunger, thirst, and major injuries, and yet is ecstatic due to the fine wall grate she admired recently.

Actually, I believe the DF Dwarfs were inspired by Tolkien's dwarfs, which means that it is in fact Dwarfs

I thought that Tolken called them Dwarves... I'm pretty sure it's Dwarves... I may be wrong, now...

Anyway, as soon as I find a dwarf, i'll ask him personally.

Nope, Dwarves is a term used when referring to a specific group "The Dwarves who ventured into the mines of Moria" Against "All Dwarfs were fond of gold"

Actually, if you look at the creature raws, you'll see that the plural of "dwarf" is, in fact, "dwarves".

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.
