The Frigate hovers in the atmosphere, as a small squadron of gunships descends. You're platoon quickly secures a Forward HQ, and the complicated work of capturing the city begins.

Send Squad 1 ahead as recon to search for enemy contact and position!

Have Gunship on standby for mobile fire support.

Squad 2 and 3 will stay back, providing a base of fire.

Squad 4 stays back in reserve.

If we only get 1 flyby with fighters, hold them back. Otherwise send 2 to perform a fly-by of the city and see what we can find in terms of enemy assets.

You send two of the fighters out on recon. One is quickly shot down. Well, now you know they have AA support on the east side of the village. you'll have to clear that out.

Squad 1 searches 3 houses, and find not one soul.

The rest of the squads stand by, ready to reinforce.

The gunship is in the atmosphere. He can provide fire instantly, but'll have to refuel in 5 phases.

Gunship, focus on AA gun.
Fighters, hold back until the AA is destroyed.
Shoot at any hostiles.
Group the squads and charge enforce.

Gunship, focus on AA gun.

I don't think you've noticed, but the gunship is an air unit. You're asking a slow moving support craft to attack an AA gun.

that'd be orbital bombardment you're looking for. The gunship is more of a fast moving helicopter than a WEAPONS PLATFORM.

Orbital bombardment is from the frigate, High up in the atmosphere.

Besides, you don't even know where the AA gun is.

Air assets should be kept away from AA.

Squad 2 should begin moving forward to assist with 1st squads house clearing.

Squad 3 should advance towards the position of AA supported by Squad 4.

Squad 1 clears out three more houses when squad 2 reinforces them. Clearing rate doubled!

Squads three and four move towards where they think the AA emplacement is. Arrival in 1 phase.

You Look up at the sun. noon. Back on bryyo you were usually asleep right now. not in THIS hellhole though. The trooper breaks down the door, only to be greeted by a Falling pirate trooper, who was probably leaning back on the door.

Inside, you can barely make out four troopers. That makes five Pirate troopers on floor 1. Two of them nearest to the door fire at the intruder.

The Pirate Trooper fires three shots!

The plasma misses the Reptilicus Trooper 1 (1)
The plasma hits(4) the trooper in the right arm (2), Hitting strongly (7 (x2, 14 DP))
The plasma hits(5) the trooper in the right leg (4), Hitting Rather strongly (9 (x2, 18 DP))

The Pirate Trooper fires three shots!
