Found a bug with the manufacture centurion parts reaction. It doesn't require a specific labor, and the metal bars are consumed without giving a product.

Edit: It was just a typo. Here's a fix, with tonal architect tentatively set as the labor.

Code: [Select]
[REACTION:MANUFACTURE_PARTS]
[NAME:manufacture centurion parts]
[BUILDING:MECHANIST_TES:NONE]
[REAGENT:A:150:BAR:NO_SUBTYPE:INORGANIC:DWEMER_METAL]
[PRODUCT:100:1:TOOL:CENTURION:INORGANIC:DWEMER_METAL]
[SKILL:MECHANICS]
Thanks for that. I'll re-upload it in a bit with the fix, as well as changing the titular voidmetal so it spawns elsewhere. It seems it is impossible to make other minerals spawn in slade.

1.9.7a uploaded. Centurion parts should be finally fixed (thanks Baffler) and voidmetal can be found in the depths, just not the place I originally planned for it to appear.

Is it intended for Dwemer to be alcohol dependent?

Yes. One book in Morrowind (Chronicles of Nchuleft, or something along those lines, can't check right now) describes a meeting of dwemer clan-leaders in a drinking hall.

Can the enchanting table be made with any table, or do I need something special? I am having some trouble building it.

Even if you found a suitable opening, I doubt it would prove all too satisfying. And it might leave some nasty wounds, depending on the moral high ground's geology.

Baffler likes silver, walnut trees, the color green, tanzanite, and dogs for their loyalty. When possible he prefers to consume beef, iced tea, and cornbread. He absolutely detests ticks.

It should be buildable with any table. I'll fire up the mod now and test

EDIT: found the problem. I added [BUILDMAT] to the [BUILD_ITEM:1:TABLE:NONE:NONE:NONE][CAN_USE_ARTIFACT][BUILDMAT] line some time ago. It was the cause. Remove the token from the line in building_tes.txt. It'll work on a current world, but I don't know if it will on an acitve fort.

Due to exceedingly bad internet (upload speed is in the single digits) people will have to apply this fix manually. Sorry.

Do I understand this correctly, can you now build Centurions in this mod? if so I really have to get back to playing it! But I've got several suggestions for it, you don't have to listen to them, I just want to suggest what I think might make the mod better. Here are the suggestions:

Dwemer Steam Engine: Requiers heat (coke or power from other steam engines) and nearby water. Generates heat power. small amount of steam rises up from around it.

Dwemer Steam Pipe: used to transfer steam power from a steam engine to another machine.

Dwemer Steam Pump: used to transfer liquids through Dwemer Liquid Pipes, uses steam power.

Dwemer Liquid Pipe: When attached to a Steam Pump with a nearby liquid can be used to transport liquids in a much more efficient way then with normal screw pumps, including up and down z-levels.

Dwemer Steam Boiler: Could be a upgraded version of the steam engine or just a machine that generates lots of steam from water. Uses steam or heat power.

These were the suggestions I have for the mod, I am no modder so I haven't got the faintest clue of how to mod any of these things into the game but I just wanted to make suggestions for the mod. Feel free to give me feedback on what you think of these. Love this mod BTW!

Most of this can't be done. The engine could be possible with DFHack. I think there is one already, probably implemented in Masterwork. I'll look into it.

Ok, I see, as I said I'm no modder so I had no idea if this was possible at all, but I just wanted to suggest something that I had on my mind for quite the time, but anyway, Can you actually build Centurions now?

If there are no more hidden bugs preventing it, yes.

There is a steamengine, but it produces mechanical power,.not steam. If you want to get some tech for dwemer, talk to IndigoFenix and his Gnomes, they have all the tech you want. :)
