Man we should just develop weapons for the Manageroids and sell them to the military for insane profit!

We should program a advanced self-aware AI for the Manageroids, and use them to test the upcoming portal gun. We can sell manageroids with integrated portal-guns to the military for huge profits, calling them Portal-O-Droids.

No, we do not want to create Self-Aware A.I.'s, we have seen too much television to want to create such nonsense!
Anyone who from now on mentions A.I. and Self-Aware on the same sentence will have three month's of sallary cut!

A Portallic Breakthrough happens! A speedy prototype is assembled and tested!

...with horrible results. Quite a reliable explosive, though. The Portal Project is dumped back into the Research Department.

Meanwhile, the MONKEY SLINGCANNON PROTOTYPE is constructed, and also tested. The monkey does not survive the test. It does not escape the prototype, though.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Mark monkey killing slingcannon as V1 and sell them to areas needing monkey population reduction. Begin work on V2 monkey slingcannon.

Yes this could get us some profit.
Or at least a part of fund raising for the next version.

Also we need to make a monkey safety helmet.

They will be super fashionable, celebrities will desire them for their pet-monkey!

Any use for the explosive portal prototype, or scrap it?

Depends on what it exploded!

The person who used it, or the thing it shot?

It exploded on use.
Multiple pieces of shrapnel can testify thusly if needed, after we have someway of making them talk.

We should save the test data for later use with our weapons division!

You decide to skip Secondary and Tertiary Testing in favor of a V1 designation. Marketing is now on the job, while production starts.
(anymore acronym suggestion, btw?)

Current Work:
Research: Portal Device (Average Progress), Monkey Helmet Design (Secondary Team)
Testing: N/A
Production: Monkey Slingcannon V1

Successful Projects: Umm...
Scrapped Projects: None
Projects Abandoned to mail-order and door salesman tactics due to horribad sales: Manageroid.
Projects That Most Definitely Did Not Exist (PTMDDNE) (no, we did not think such a bad idea would work, thats silly): Well of course theres None, we aren't idiots.

PTMDDNE suggestion: Robotic Slap-Chopper

Basically, it hits the plunger on the slap-chop, when someone waves their hand across it's face
