IMHO, we cannot mod a StarCraft-DF game into a full-blown RTS like the original one. I think it 'should' be something like a small (Terran) mining colony. With that, we don't need to mod in heavy machinaries like Siege Tank into the game, since a small colony is unlikely to get military support like that.

Just think Avatar(movie), but with Terran.

So the majority of your dwarfs-err, Terrans will be civilians/miners/whatever, with security guards taking care of the safety of your colony. Power Armored Marines and Firebats will be quite high-tech already.

Siege Tank in siege mode could be catapults, maybe make a reaction for a really heavy stone and call it 120mm rounds, so they actually do a lot of damage.
I assume you can mod siege weapons ofc.

Nice idea but i want to explain something.
This is NOT a Total Conversion, this mod only add creatures, weapons, armors, ores, plants to the Vanilla game.

Of course, Terran will be a playable race in fortress and adventurer mode.

O so ur only adding things into the game?

Now I dont believe it is so Starcrafty. Since u will still have gobos, dwarves etc. I think for all intensive purposes it should be a Total Conversion mod if u wanna make it into an SC2 universe mod

It would be fun if you make the Terran totally OP and utterly destroy the goblin siege with one Marine :)

Barely armored copper goblins start charging in the hundreds at the terran base.

Just the lurker. The other ones already have their roles filled.

Also, the lurker is in SC2 game files. I've spawned it in custom games before using codes.

Ah, you meant the canceled SCII units. I thought you meant totally canceled units (not in the 1st/2nd parts), I was too lazy to check the link, sorry.

When they die, they drop an item corpse that's a rock with a low boiling point.

Dwarves are dwarves.
And since this isn't total conversion anyways that doesn't matter, because soon the zerg will be using elf skin clothes. MUHAHAHA!
This still looks totally awesome. I have no modding skill so I couldn't do this myself, so kudos to you.
