I wonder which language is it :). Sounds like russian but I haven't seen letters like those.

Agreed.

It is Slavic (which means it's related to Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, etc.).

compare:
Da, tavariš. (above language)
Da, tovarshch. (Russian)
Tak, towarzyszu. (Polish)
Tak , tovarysh. (Ukrainian)

Other than that, I can't place it.

Eh, no. the Cyrillic character for "sh" is "Ш", while the one for "shch" is "Щ". The Russian word "tovarshch" is spelled "Това́рищ" in Cyrillic. the last character is clearly Щ.

What do you mean? I'm using the language that Keric used, and comparing it to Russian, Polish, ant Ukrainian.

1) You miss the "i", is it intentional? Tovarishch.
2) It's not actually shch, it's a "soft sh", so it's more natural to write it "sh'" :). A lot of people say "shit" with this "sh'".
