Alright, it's a kinda good thing that a terrorist leader is gone for good but I'm sick of hearing "Justice has been served"

Seriously, you can't turn on the TV without hearing it. And justice has not been served for many Iraq war victims, just the 911 and certain terrorist attack victims.

But still, a small amount of justice has been served.

Yes Phmcw. I think it is a valid question. Sure, killing him will not put a end to the war. And it certainly would have been better to not kill him. But, the true question you should be debating is: Is letting him be alive and free better then killing him?

Oh ok, cause the worst case scenario is that they were working on some amazing plot and rather than finish preparing for it they were like, "we're doing it live!" and forced it in a halfass way now. That would still be a "win" for us because they would be more likely to fail.

But... my point is done out of compassion for Ben Laden, seriously who care for that guy. My point is : he got of way too lightly. He should have had a long trial, during which his personage would have been deconstructed, his personal stories revelated, and all informations on his actions would have been exposed. Of course, every responsibility in this whole fiasco would have been exposed, and his image as a charismatic leader would have been tarnished.
Instead, he died fighting special forces... seriously, did you WANT to make him a legend?

You're missing the point. To us he's an international terrorist. To them, he's a hero, and now he's a martyr.

I'm going to interrupt the ongoing flamefest to post this different view on the matter:

- Trump questions Obama's birth place and demands to see a long-form birth certificate

- Obama delivers the certificate, taking a veiled shot at Trump and the media in the accompanying speech

- Two days later, Obama publicly humiliates Trump at the correspondent's dinner, right to his face, followed by even more from an SNL comedian

- The next day, Obama pre-empts Trump's reality TV show with news about KILLING F*CKING OSAMA BIN LADEN

Bin Laden is the only person on Earth who had a worse weekend than Donald Trump.
