Nice Touches Thread

Post the little details that show that Toady really covered all the bases..
Example: When you spill a goblin's guts, it says "stinking guts" instead of just plain guts like other creatures.
Example 2: When you knock down something that has a little pre-battle name declaration, it says "Blah Blahblah lies before you" instead of stands before you.

Here's mine: Spill a night creature's guts. It will say "reeking guts" or "filthy guts", similar to the goblin one above.

Being able to stab heads off.

I know that' probably not what you mean but still, I love seeing the message:
"You stab the Warchief in the head with your Iron 2-handed sword and the severed part sails off in an arc!"

That description varies by if you made a demigod, hero, or peasant level adventurer.

Probably varies if you're good or bad too... or get killed early in you adventuring career.

In fortress mode when your book keeper goes to update the fortress records he hauls an entire barrel of liquor into his office and locks himself in.
