Looks like an interesting system.

And yeah, get the hell away from that shockwave.

...Tarrak? Is that another insult on my name? :P

Get moving! Call the E.G.S Anchorage.

"Goddammit, GET YOURSELF TOGETHER! This is war! We are on the brink of EXTINCTION! SO GET YOURSELF TOGETHER AND HELP US YOU SON OF A BITCH! FIGHT OR DIE KNOWING YOU FAILED THE ENTIRETY OF HUMANITY BY EVEN BEING BORN!"

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Phase 5

The Halberd (To-hit, 5+1=4 VS Dodge 1-=7 -6, hit confirmed, damage roll 5+1=6, shields take 6+3 damage, shields collapse, Hull takes 4 damage.) eats Snow Owl's missile head on and continues charging. Then it finally sees the shockwave

You turn sharply and activate your afterburners as proximity warning klaxons begin to scream at you...
Impact in 5...4...3...2...1...

(Difficulty=5, Manuvering roll 5+1=passed) Your ship just barely outpaces the explosion. You check on your allies...
Snow Owl lost 50% of her shields and Red October was unable to escape at all...his ship was just to damaged. The Anchorage was also toasted-any chance you had of talking sense into them is gone.

The remaning Snub Fighter (Difficulty=5, Manuvering roll 6-5=failed) was also destroyed and the Halberd (Difficulty=5, Manuvering roll 5-7=failed) took the brunt of the explosion as well. You see the final life pods rupture from within.

You reorient your sensors to face the unknown warp signature-it's an enemy Lancer Gunboat. Damn...contacts everywhere-heavy fighters are escorting the gunboat, and some more needlers, probably the only left from that wolfpack.

You've also got a friendly bomber on approach. He's flying erratically...

Armor Integrity: 100%
Shield Integrity: 100%
Missiles: 2 remaining (Blackshot Fg4 homing, long range)
Guns: 4 Xerxes Rail guns (220 rounds remaining, close range)

Communications

Typhoon Interceptor, Callsign -Snow Owl-: "I'm all right, it just hit the shields. Umm...what do we do now?"

Blizzard Bomber, Callsign -Floral Prince-: "Anybody out there? I think I escaped my pursuers. My wing is gone. I'm the only one left."

E.G.S Miami, automated: (signal hijacked)....This is the Tarrak Union. All hope is lost. Face your death with honor.

50 Megaton Civilian Freighter, Unindentified Speaker: "This is bullshit! Give us a goddamn chance!
There's too many of them...

We'll spin up what point defenses we have on this bucket, but they can only do so much."

OOC: Well, Tarran, your name is only 50% evil, and adding a "K" to the end of anyones name makes them sound 100% more extra evil.

Are the incoming damaged enemy vessels attempting to suicide us? If so, blast 'em.

If not, head towards the starboard enemies and launch a missle at the heavy fighter

The Tarrak are indeed fond of suicide attacks...

comm- "Floral prince, this is blue sky, watch out for stealth fighters on your six, I have some fucked up radiation readings coming from that area. If you could help take out that gunboat while I engage the broadsword, that would be peachy."

comm- "Snow owl, we have three needlers and a broadsword going kamikaze, requesting support"

comm- "Well Miami, just know that I AM GOING TO STAB EVERY SINGLE FUCKING ONE OF YOU. MULTIPLE TIMES."

Fire a missile at the undamaged broadsword, get close and fire our railguns.

Could a missile hit the incoming gunboat before it was able to deploy it's cap-ship killing weapon?

If you choose to activate your afterburners this phase, your missile gets one extra range "jump", enough to hit the gunboat at long range

Even if the missile could connect, doing so will leave you open to the enemy fighter, as well-acquring a missile lock under fire from enemy guns leaves you extra vulnerable-and your trying to lock two missiles on seperate targets on the same time is straining your abilities.

You could fire it unguided at the gunboat, though, if you think your lucky.

Also, it's just an anti-fighter missile you have, it will be a tough to damage the gunboat with any degree of success.

The Freighter can probably take 2 or 3 hits from the main gun or Halberd bombing runs until it suffers catastrophic damage.

Also, don't be suprised if you guys dont "win"-your really not meant too. I'm pretty much winging it and thinking up things on the fly. :P

Turn delayed while I be lazy. Having trouble depicting 12 seperate directions/ranges in text form, so I clean up the template a bit. Is it too much to ask players to read so much data? That's the problem I always run into, how to fly a ship in text form...
