Dirt and Blood

You awaken to the sound of gunfire and explosions.

You are lying down on the ground, a bullet wound in your side and your horse dead. You see two of the beastmen that know themselves as Ariani run a few meters in front of you. One of them is carrying a flag. The other is armed with a Balka Rifle (Nearest RL Comparison: Springfield Rifle (1861)). They both rush to cover, and take shelter behind a large rock. The one with the gun, who upon closer inspection seems to be a Dogman, leans out of cover to take a quick shot before ducking back.

What do you do?

You quickly crawl behind a neaby dirt trench. Its very small, but it protects you while your prone. You scream for help.

The Beastmen, a Rabbitman, carring the flag notices you, and runs over to help you. He looks at your chest area, and says
"Don't worry, Sargent Major! I'll help you!"

You ask about the Vremyan reinforcments, he replies,
"The Vremyan Union forces aren't suppost' to arrive for another two hours!"

You wonder if its the Taikeni invading, but you quickly dissmiss the thought. They desolved over seven hundred years ago! You also consider charging for the Red Bastard. You refuse this thought even more then before. Not only was he dead, he was a mass murderer! Killing and enslaving millions of Ariani, and causing a large portion of their culture to burn! You'd never march for that bastard!

He carries you over to the nearby rock where hs friend his hiding. He quickly sees your rank, and salutes you.  While you have this moment, you notice that you are Human. Like the Rabbitman said, you apper to have the rank of Sargent Major. You also apper to be wearing your jacket unzipped and sleeveless, with the collar still cliped together. Thankfully, it doesn't look like it'd strangle you.

What do you do?
