As is, Adventurers can attack with all attacks manually.
However, breath attacks are not included in this.
I propose that the Fire (F) button brings up a list of all ranged attacks the current adventurer possesses (including crossbows and bows), from which you select which you want to use (and which ammo, if applicable), and then where you wish to attack. A side effect of this is that
Furthermore, I propose that Breath attacks are reclassified, and their syntax be changed. Instead of being a generic "Breath Attack", I believe the ability should be linked to a body part. Loss of that body part results in the loss of that attack. The same with nervous damage, and excessive muscle damage/bone breaking.
This means that rather than have everything spitting it's load everywhere, you can have fire imps that actually require hands to hurl flames, magma crabs that require mouths to spit basalt, and eye lasers. Delicious eye lasers...
Aside from the main suggestion, I believe that the breath attacks and special attacks could be expanded to include things such as web (I know things can eject web as it is, but it is linked to a tag and the whole creature. Having web spinnerets would be better) and entire living creatures. This opens up things such as throwing leeches at the enemy, and having creatures able to release clouds of bees as a defence.
