The demons, horribly unionized like they are, begin new contract negotiations with their new leader. Though skilled in battle, their new leader is terrible in negotiations and more than 90% of the demons leave and block any new demons from coming because any new demons would be "scabs".
Arogeth requires a new base of operations! Obviously, the islanders must create a GIGANTIC sand castle, which Arogeth will turn to glass with his flame breath, resulting in a fabulous glass fortress by the seashore.
Arogeth starts using his god powers (He is being worshipped ) to enhance his followers.
-----------
The Islanders get knowledge that he is not a god, and roast Arogeth.
Liu Tao gathers up all valuables (gems, precious metals, anything that a dragon would find suitable for a hoard) on the continent and has them shipped back down to the underworld where they are used to summon a pair of demon dragons who are given instructions to hunt down and kill Arogeth.
The pain of losing Tala finally hits Arogeth, and he descends into a state of sick depression. He can't go on like this!
(Dwarmin, M=3: 2) Arogeth is pretty confused about what he should be doing, but he's not thinking about the past... he's looking to the future! (Krath, M=3: 5) Somehow he conveys his desire for a glass castle and the islanders willingly sculpt - somehow - a giant castle of sand that he turns into glass with his fire breath. ...Isn't this kind of dangerous? Well, regardless, he and his minions at least have some sort of shelter... (V-Norrec, Request=6: 6) Meanwhile, elsewhere on the continent, Kiku's former minions are pretty mad about Liu Tao's treachery! They demand moar pay and better contracts, and unprepared for this eventuality, Liu Tao tries to put them off but only succeeds in making them go on strike! His forces are greatly depleted.
(Theo, H=4: 6) Despite his losses, Liu Tao pulls another victory out of nowhere by raiding the haunted tunnels and getting all the treasures the dwarves had. These, as well as two madmen wandering the tunnels, are sacrificed to raise two demon dragons to take out Arogeth! Apparently both Kiku and Liu Tao think that Arogeth is the only thing standing between them and world domination.
(Taricus, M=3: 1) The dragon isn't a god! He's just a dragon. This ain't Discworld. :3 (Powder, M=3: 5) The islanders start to catch on that maybe this is actually the case and Arogeth isn't the lord of the volcano. They decide to put their theory to the test and roast him! ...He's not really hurt because, well, he's a dragon and used to fire, in addition to being tougher than normal, but the islanders are definitely not on his side anymoar.

*Arogeth lives in a glass castle on the beach.
*The demons won the war, annihilating the humans and elves! The dwarves have already been completely wiped out... but have come back as vengeful ghosts, wiping out any that dare enter their tunnels.
*Arogeth's scales are more durable than that of most adult dragons due to the power of his healing scepter.
*No hoard anymoar.
*Two heroes, an Orc Berserker named Thrak Shadowstalker and a Stormdancer known as 'Lucky' Daigo Zamfir, have survived an impossible situation due to a rift in the space-time continuum and are still stalking Arogeth... or so they thought. Turns out they lost their minds some time ago and are the only survivors of the ghost dwarf attack, and are just wandering the tunnels killing everything that moves. Or they were, until Liu Tao's machinations ended up turning them into demon dragons. >.>
*Liu Tao, master strategist, has in one fell swoop eliminated all opposition including Kikubaaqudgha himself and taken over the demon armies... until the demons unionized, anyway. He has a few regiments but hardly an army.
*The islanders are against Arogeth since they figured out he isn't actually a god and are unhappy about their island being sunk.
