Nah, it's not that. As I said to Zako, I've been feeling kinda
depressed recently and have to work up the energy to do things. Since you asked, though, I'll make it happen.
Scepter, Heal, Now, Restore Scales too... which also would obviously make him harder to kill and thus make Kiku's job harder.
And then the good gods (TSO/Zin/Evilyon) said 'f dis' and banished Kiku and his armies back to whence they came.
A few monsoons on the continent's coast renders the dragons untrackable, even if the forces of dragon slaying find them, thee's no guarantee that they'll survive the journey.
-----------
The volcano erupts when Tala's still inside, and even she can't handle that much heat.
While hunting for fish Arogeth is attacked by a zombie shark. His wings are shredded and he is forced to swim back to the mainland to escape its clutches.
Being the cunning Demon Lord he is, Kikubaaqudgha uses his spies to spread a sly rumor among the Hero community-whats left of it anyway-about the location of two Dragons in the world, that if their blood was combined, could create a poison capable of killing him and ending the invasion, thus saving the world. Tis a total red herring, and probably qualifies for a BAD END.
Also, he sends minions to destroy the GM for calling him "Kiku".
(Theo, M=3: 2) Arogeth takes a dip in the ocean. It's pretty nice, but he can't help but feel it's a little boring without anything like zombie whales attacking him. Nevertheless he wrangles a few sharks out of the water and drags them home to eat. And use their teeth as decorations. (Dwarmin, M=3 & Impossible=10: 5, 2) Kiku sends his spies out to spread some false rumors. Being that he's intelligent and hires only the best to serve him, these rumors quickly become accepted as fact and many heroes great and small mobilize to defeat the dragons. Meanwhile, he sends some minions out to destroy the GM, but being that he's the GM Jay anticipates this and searches through his files for an acceptable hero. After about ten minutes of searching he finds his god-mode-Sue character from about thirteen years ago, a seven and a half foot warrior who dual-wields a magic greatsword and a triple-barreled shotgun with enough agility to shame Spiderman, as well as the ability to morph into a Bahamut-like beast.
The minions are utterly crushed in the most boring, predictable, special-effects-laden, overdone fight scene to ever happen off-camera. There can be no defeating a twelve-year-old's god-mode-Sue. It's just not possible.
(Krath, H=4: 3) Unfortunately Gods apparently don't exist in this world. Just Kiku and his imaginary rival 'the GM,' which is seriously starting to worry his minions. What the hell does GM stand for and why is Kiku worried about it so much? (Taricus, M=3: 4) While all the atheists in the kingdom are pointing at the priests like
'ha-ha,' some higher power decides to smite the coastal cities with a massive monsoon. If the assorted heroes can even find the island now, it'll be more difficult to get to. (Powder, H=4: 5) So anyway, while Arogeth is
still bringing the sharks back, the volcano erupts with Tala in the cave. She gets cooked.
One less dragon in the world now, but at least the hoard is safe.
(V-N, M=3: 3) With a proper application of the healing scepter, Arogeth managed to regrow his scales and recover his injuries... but he can't bring Tala back. You can't un-fry things, Arogeth. You can't be something that you're not.

*Arogeth has made a new home in a cave in a volcano on a tropical island.
*The humans and elves are locked in a war with demons and are suffering heavy casualties! The dwarves have already been completely wiped out.
*Arogeth's scales are more durable than that of most adult dragons due to the power of his healing scepter.
*In the hoard is: a paltry amount of gold coins, two steel bins filled with various gemstones, a unicorn horn, a bronze figurine of a lion, a gem-encrusted adamantine crown, and a ruby-studded elven scepter that can cure wounds.
*Two heroes, an Orc Berserker named Thrak Shadowstalker and a Stormdancer known as 'Lucky' Daigo Zamfir, are now roaming the lands in search of Arogeth. There are others too but they're still only level 1 and haven't gotten enough EXP to earn a name or class yet.
*So is Kikubaaqudgha, Demon Lord of the undead legions now plaguing the countryside.
