What are they going to do now? (V-Norrec, M=3: 5) They instead decide to just take their things and leave. It's a nice cave, but screw this for a lark.

(Powder, M=3: 5) Still believe the dragons are in there, several warriors assault the cave! Through their combined efforts they kill all the demons, collapse the cave, and gain three or four levels apiece as well as earning some fame for themselves! Two in particular led the assault: Thrak Shadowstalker, an Orc warrior, and 'Lucky' Daigo Zamfir, a bard of some small reknown... more now, of course. This duo picks up their trail, and follows them away while the rest of the warriors celebrate the victory. (Dwarmin, M=3: 5. Krath, H=4: 2) Kikubaaqudgha interrupts the party with an undead legion! The warriors that stayed behind are slaughtered to a man and turned into part of the demon lord's growing army, and like the two heroes, has his sights set on a bigger prize: the two dragons...

Of course, now he has to find them first. :-\

TEAM SUCCESS: 45
TEAM FAILURE: 53
2nd 1/2 of May

*Arogeth & Tala are seeking a new home.
*The humans and elves are locked in a war with demons and are suffering heavy casualties! The dwarves have already been completely wiped out.
*A female red dragon named Tala, who drank a love potion and is considering taking Arogeth on as her mate provided he can pass her trials, is traveling with him.
*Arogeth is permanently missing a few scales around his chest.
*In the horde is: a paltry amount of gold coins, two steel bins filled with various gemstones, a bronze figurine of a lion, a gem-encrusted adamantine crown, and a ruby-studded elven scepter that can cure wounds.
*Two heroes, an Orc warrior named Thrak Shadowstalker and a bard known as 'Lucky' Daigo Zamfir, are now roaming the lands in search of Arogeth and Tala.
*So is Kikubaaqudgha, Demon Lord of the undead legions now plaguing the countryside.

Kikubaaqudgha's minions, both mortal and demonic, scour the land for Tala and Arogeth! Many small kingdoms and tribes are offered the false hope at saving themselves, if they only reveal what they know about the Dragons whereabouts...

Flying along Arogeth and Tala stop to eat. They stop in some joyful wilds, and while hunting a unicorn pierces Arogeth's chest! He's now suffering from some internal bleeding.

Counter:  The healing wand patches up Arogeth better than ever replacing all those missing scales and stopping any internal bleeding

OR

The worshippers of Sif Muna and Vehumet unite and put this down this unholy threat.  The world is once again at peace and the demons sealed away.

Exactly, since we were told we could have a second "back up action" in the case of counters I'm going to make use of it.  There is no point to having a wasted action after all.

Just a quick note on that for anyone who doesn't know, back-up actions will only happen if the person you're countering blows their roll and a counter would be N/A. It's not a case of attempting a counter, blowing your roll, and getting another action in the turn. ^^;

Blergh. My earlier post doesn't count? Ah well.

Thrak and Lucky completely lose the trail of the dragons, and end up running into Kiku's evil hordes. Lolwhoops.
