:3 Talarion's going right for the high scores I see. I probably should've thought about counter-rolling in advance but  I figure what I'll do is I'll roll both events normally; if they both succeed, whichever player's successful roll is higher will win.

EDIT: This actually made me think of another interesting game mechanic: sleeper events. If Talarion wins and Tina can keep this affair hidden then for every turn it's 'sleeping' it gets +1 point, but doesn't affect Bruce until he finds out about it. If it's discovered through Team Success actions, then all will be forgiven; Team Failure gets no points and Team Success gets all the accumulated extra points. When the trap is sprung by Team Failure, however, all those points will be cashed in immediately. Adds another element of strategy to matters, which I quite like. :3 Will both teams go for bonus points or will the opposing team try to disarm the sleeper immediately to shut the other team out?

Team Success can try creating sleeper events too, I just had a handy example available on the TF side.

Hey, if he finds out about it, then it'll likely make his life HORRIBLE. Or it would if he cared. Of course I'm not going to get into a power struggle, Success God Personalities (Team Success) can always try and make it so that Bruce doesn't find out... but I just couldn't help myself. The obvious choice is obvious, and it is one hard hitting demon, if I do say so myself.

Very nice... I am liking this game more and more. My mind is ticking, good sir, it is ticking! And that can mean only one thing: This man's life is going to hell. Both, and more. We shouldn't bother with the small things. Unless it's HIS small thing. We need to bring out the big guns; Fast, Flashy, Driving Straight Through. This is how we must play the game! Overwhelm them with the sheer horribleness that is life, and let it run it's course. On a balance, bad things are much more plausible and infinitely more powerful than good things. We should use this to our advantage, pushing disaster after disaster onto Bruce before his little mind explodes with rage, grief, and the weight that is the Failure of Life!

EDIT: Man I give epic speeches, if I do say so myself. Who else here thinks I'd be an inspiring general? If my speeches were actually, yknow, inspiring. ^^;
