Day One:
Ganging up on my character by enemies with upped stats being able to dodge regular attacks with 70-80% effectiveness. Yes, even the slimes.
Day Two:
GODDAMN BATS.
Day Three:
Boss battle with an enemy that moves faster, swings faster, hits harder, blocks, occasionally ignores hit stuns, and casts an area sleep spell.
Reward? Character that does absolutely nothing. (Okay, well it does pickup dropped coins).
Day Four:
Regular mook that deals as much damage as the first boss, flies, has a ranged attack, moves fast, and has an area sleep attack. Occasionally comes in packs of three.
Regular mook that swings faster, has longer range, and appears in packs in areas where I am forced to use my squishy wizard.
Said squishy wizard's magic takes time to cast. Enemies are resistant to all one of her attack spells.
Regular mook that spams ranged spell that paralyzes and can heal other enemies with no apparent limits.
Day Five:
Lose party healer.
POISON.
Mook recolor with previous weak point now its strongest attack.
GODDAMN RATS.
Day Five point Five:
Sudden character change from level 7 warrior to level 2 wizard/rogue. Enemies still same level.
Switched back to main character after long and painful dungeon dive... directly into forced boss battle with no equipment.
AREA SLEEP ATTACKS FOR EVERYONE.
Day Six:
Cave where all enemies have AREASPELLSPAMAREASPELLSPAMAREASPELLSPAMAREASPELLSPAM.
Several sections where you're forced to use your squishy wizard. All enemies resistant to all two of her attack spells.
Forced to backtrack through same dungeon.
Day Seven:
Lose party healer. AGAIN.
new enemies in dungeon. One moves and swings faster, one spams unblockable attacks, and archers; which are of course, placed on the ledges of precarious jumps.
Enemies are almost always encounter in threes.
EVERYTHING BLOCKS. EVEN THE ARCHERS.
Is it worth it to go through this?
You tell me.
