Going with 2 handed weaponry and my best armor got me killed too many times as my rolling abilities aren't good
, so for the Witch i had no choice but go with shields, forcing me to change my armor parts as i would get too heavy to move.
Head : White/Royalist Armet
Body : Sorcerer's Kunta
Hands : Merchant's Gloves
Legs : Sorcerer's Lungi
From the stats, it seems with what i have it's the best compromise to keep high arcane and electricity resistance to avoid getting one shot (in case i fail to use my shield at the good time).
On my shields the best choice i had was the rather heavy Type 46 Tower Shield , as while some other lighter shields had some better arcane/electricty resistance (the Silver Shield protect 100% against both damage source) they had noticably lower Balance, meaning those magic machineguns spells that the Witch loves to abuse would stagger me most of the time, giving her lots of opening to destroy me
That tower shield balance is good enough to block those machineguns spells fully , while not at 100% resistance so some minimum damage is expected unfortunately (good i have a lot of healing potions in between her spells).
There exist a tower shield that seems to be designed exactly for this fight as it has high balance and 100% resistance to all the witch spells, but i am far from having enough point to unlock its use on the skill tree (as it's of a higher class than my max-Class 3 shield support)
2 rings with one that increase slightly arcane and the other that slightly increase electricity were always good to have.
Now for the weapon, the highest base damaging weapon (base damage is important when buffing with items apparently) and that also happen to still be my highest damage when 1 handed was the normally 2 handed Jaws of Death (a greatscissor) , when used only 1 handed , it does not lose that much damage and as the witch is resistance vs blunt damage , the greatscissor that slash things to death seems to be perfect.
I added to the weapon a charm that i recently found (in Pitchwood) , that buff the weapon with holy damage (holy element being one of the witch weakness).
As i have potions to add fire damage, the other witch weakness, i feel i'm covered on the damage dealing ability.
I have a priest prayer to add holy damage but it only last for 30seconds, that's why i decided to go with the charm.
Because the fire potion is lasting for 60 seconds, so i think it's the best combinaison.
Additionally, i added an alchemist to the sanctuary that influence this region, the presence of an alchemist increase slightly all elemental resistance in the zone)
